Re: what wifi pci card is good for os4 ?

@Chris

i just suggest better bus option ... better do not use pci.
use pcie bus will gave better speed and system stability. less issue.

Tested this on Linux and on Amigaos.
Example Rtl board on pci gave me on X5000 max 1.6MB/s DL on my ADSL( linux) 500kb/s on Amigaos
the Pcie Lan gave me 2.1 MB/s DL on Linux and 700 kb/s on Amigaos.

If i suggest is because i know and i test

Use of the pci bus is not the best option.

Hi Hans did it in past ... and found where the issue was too... is in glemour egl <--> drm. the fence start locking up when glemour egl are loaded
in next days i will check if something change because now dri3 endianess is fixed and im hoping i will havedifferent result... but i will not bet on this ...

On EL all is working right we know BE is full of endianess never fixed.

Hi Hans,
been pulled. but i have a really big problem.
If i use Radeon Rx or 7xxx on AmigaOs i have acceleration on it and not on linux. If i use 6xxx on linux i have acceleration on linux and not on amigaos . :-/

impossible just because will be only x86 and Arm and packaged as not free (if i remember good).

are ages that im say teen4fox will be a right choice for amigaos. Cameron Kaiser did a more lighter browser Classilla is a free, open source browser for Mac OS 8.5 and 9 upgraded and compatible with html5 too.
If someone have the right knowledge there are the basis for start make a new browser for amigaos.

@Rob
is not so simple mantain timberwolf . firefox jump about 30 new version from when timberwolf was born and much was did in the code . In future version of firefox (54 or 56 i dont remember exactly)will be impossible to have it on ppc and or ported to other not official os becasue firefox will use it own compiler .

@TSK

yes amiga_model = A4000/PPC" work too but it is better configuration for os 3.9 and warpos.
picasso dont need the rom as invocked .

In any way you can use the fsuae launcher for made the right configuration with graphical gui

Os4 with picasso IV config

amiga_model = A4000/OS4
hard_drive_0_controller = ide0
hard_drive_0 = /home/amigaone/test.hdf
uae_a2065 = slirp
automatic_input_grab = 0
floppy_drive_0_volume = 0
fullscreen = 0

PS: you need the cybrestorm qemu plugin in plugin and the cyberstorm roms

Power8 have the Altivec working for LE too plus have the optimization of Gallium and mesa.
About an OS4 PPCLE
Probably the only way for have old BE software working will be wiht a qemu-user mode. I dont know if kvm-pr there will gave the opportunity to have BE system too. if yes will be more simple a swap.
