Downgraded A-Eon Enhancer components except Graphics components to released versions .

Still no instability with Updater thus far.
Even when fiddling with AmiSphere Prefs.

Using Hyperion version of Thumblist.gadget v 53.8

No current stability problem with either Updater or AmiUpdate.
Beta Updater version .

My system is the most stable it has ever been.
Running with update 1 Kernel .

It is set up for auto install with AmiUpdate but something is not working.

to do it manually use the following command in a shell from the top directory of were you have extracted the update archive :

eg if extracting to ram:

cd ram:
execute AutoInstall

AmigaOS 4.1FE update 2 brought a significant benefit in respect to Emotion video playback .

I would expect that the 1.9 demo will be uploaded to OS4Depot at some point.
But this is a full free update for the current full version available via AmiStore. So if you currently have not purchased it US$22.71 or Euro 20.96 + any applicable taxes gets you the full package for the update.

Used the Lite version twice to install AmigaOS 4.1FE on two different systems and it worked with the video cards that I was using. Can't remember the exact cards but they would have been Radeon HD 7xxx models.

Reverted the clipboard.device to v53.3 and textclip-handler to v53.1.

Only Non AmigaOS4.1 commodity running is X-Dock. so no Clipview etc

Combination of X-Dock and third party program called CPU_Watcher (version 0.7) cause a lockup on my Sam460ex when using the copy menu in AmigaShell . No issue with the copy function if X-Dock is running but not CPU_Watcher. And no issue with the copy if CPU_Watcher is running but not X-Dock .

I was trying to duplicate the issue with the copy menu that
NinjaCyborg was having with his clean AMigaOS 4.1 Update 2.
Could not duplicate with my own clean Update 2.

As the lockup does not occur for me with a clean install it may be time to start looking at system hardware maybe .

My Config

Graphics card - Radeon Rx550 Polaris video card.
SATA Card - PCI Sil3112 or Sil3512(switched to the SIL3112 today)
Ethernet - Onboard Ethernet


I note that NinjaCyborg is using a wireless atheros5000 based PCI 3Com wifi card for Ethernet and a RadeonHD 6540 graphics card .

Should probably try to eliminate the WIFI card a a possible cause .

A-EOn Enhancer X-Dock 2.42 seems to be the culprit .
