Here it is the website of the openGL screensavers I talked you about. There is also the source code available. http://www.reallyslick.com/
I'd love to see any of these in our beloved OS4.0. Give it a try.

Wow impressive looking screen savers, lets hope some one port them over, any way nice way to learn GL I guess

Okay, I'll try to explain. I entered UBOOT prefs on boot but couldn't find anything on IDE ports at all. Then I found the uboot prefs in workbench prefs drawer and in there I changed to UDMA 2 on my IDE settings..

Now, it only boot to the insert disc screen...

As I did say early set it to ?best PIO mode?,

Now you most set in to that using uboot shell:

showenv a1ide_xfer
setenv a1ide_xfer EEEE
savenv

showenv sil_xfer
setenv sil_xfer EEEE
saveenv

0 - Automatic (si680ide will use the best mode
that the drive claims to support)
a - PIO 0 ( 3 MB/s, modeid 8)
b - PIO 1 ( 5 MB/s, modeid 9)
c - PIO 2 ( 8 MB/s, modeid 10)
d - PIO 3 ( 11 MB/s, modeid 11)
e - PIO 4 ( 16 MB/s, modeid 12)

You should add run <>nil: in front of addinterface in startup-sequence

Or else you get consol window, when can find network,

Then I tried CW.DEVICE has worked for some time under update 4 (99% done), it lockups under OS4 final, sg2 or TonyW one of you did say some thing about needing to change some thing in your devices because of new memory system, I like to know what.

New feature in OS4: Invalid devices show up on workbench as that, that?s where kind of you (It?s boring formatting disks using CLI.)

If find out what the problem is I hope it will be ready for the new year.

The CDROM is auto detected, no need for moutlist or any thing like that.

Try holding ?Scroll Lock? (HELP KEY) while warm rebooting, or LEFT and RIGHT mouse buttons while warm rebooting, you CD0 should be available from boot menu in the OS4 kickstart.

Set your CDROM / CDR to best pia mode using UBOOT prefs then try again, do not use CDRW discs when installing OS4.

If Catwesel driver do not work for you then it like problem whit new memory system, it?s on my to TODO list.

If you have a CW installed then just rename the mount list, nothing more.

Try disabling user-startup in startup-sequence, that way you know if the problem is in startup-sequence or user startup.

Spoofing
The spoofing engine has been totally re-written for 2.4, and provides a range of pre-defined spoofing options. As before, they are controlled by the URL Prefs, but additionally they are also selectable from the Preferences menu as many people had requested. The available options for spoofing are:

* IBrowse (compatable)?
* IBrowse (standard)?
* Netscape 4.78
* Netscape 7.2
* Mozilla 1.7.5
* Firefox 1.0
* MSIE 4.01
* MSIE 5.01
* MSIE 5.5
* MSIE 6.0

Re: We need NEW Games

@FihmpenRouk

Yet an other obstacles, is that most Amiga developers are used to 2D games programming, there is learning curve to be over come whit 3D graphics.

Modern graphic card are slow in the 2D department in hi resolutions, while 3D there is lots of potential to be taken advantage of, you can easily do sprite like effects or multilayer effects to keep it old school looking.

As you say it?s not smart to start whit large projects, it better to start whit tiny example codes, and maybe projects like tiring to redo simple 2D games in 3D types of projects
