don't u know how work has been made in these days.. and we have today other updates that you don't have atm in the OS4 Final. The road is really long. and the jingle is really the last thing that the Dev mus be take care of....
So.. today is a great day.. enjoy os4 and wait for the other stuffs.. now pls... INSTALL A COMPILER and DEVELOP SOFTWARE!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you Andrea, but if there are other updates, why Hyperion release OS4 final 2-3 days ago ?

Off course I know that Christmas is a good date to release something but maybe if they takes at least 1 mounth of extra work on it maybe after that we can have a complete installation with AmigaInput, PowerPC.library and so on, not to mention other very important component like SNAP ...

This is only my opinion :-/

P.S.
Is there any news about the other OS4 software project like AmiUpdate, MooVid 1.7, MUI4 ?
Is there any chance to see them as contributions or maybe in a future BoingBag ?

P.P.S.
I would like to thanks Hyperion-Entertainment and the other developers/betatester for their fantastic efforts on AmigaOS 4.0

Bye

Satourne is a Sega Saturn emulator that can play easly commercial games for this 32 Bit Console.

Browsing the original binarie's archive I discover that Satourne use some library like LibVorbis, LibOGG and zLib that we have from time on OS4 ...

So my question is, anyone can look into it ?

Imho as test you can starting now with the currenty 0.104 from that site (for the latest MOS source version contact the author), after that if you find a problem you can choose another code ...
But please don't use SDL

Good luck

There is also a source code of the 0.97 release for MorphOS (binaries is also included in the page for the 0.104 release so if anyone want to contact the autor ...)

AFAIK Mame CVS now is arrive at 0.110 but i think that when we have this port from the original MOS version, updated isn't quite difficult ...

Hello Amigans this is my first post

About the browser situation, IMHO isn't too terrible now, i think that we have a good chance to see some progress in the near time.

IBrowse for example is quite finish, only 13 bugs before the officiale release (off course if all goes well)

AWeb is incomplete and the development is too slow, this is true, but the 3.5.09 is coming ...

But 100% we does't forget the Sputnik project, Marcik it is not contrary at all to an AmigaOS 4.0 porting and i'm sure that once he have finished the MorphOS version will be able to release also for AmigaOS (maybe via bounty or what else, now we don't know)

Also Paihia could become a real dream in 2007 as Mozilla too, if we can have a decent GTK/MUI wrapper in the near time ...

So feel positive guys, the loooong waiting is quite finish

Bye

P.S.
Congratulation to the mantainers, this new forum is very nice
