Re: New CPU module for A1/uA1 from ACube System tested..

@Raziel

That's kinda what I had thought, but looking at that chart on their webpage was giving me some hope. (There is a column titled "rework," which I thought might be the cost just for a fix; and there is another column titled "CPU cost," which I was hoping might be the cost for a brand new one.)

I was contemplating e-mailing ACube for some additional information; but I know that they must be busy trying to get SAM out on time (and I certainly do not want to slow that down at all).

@AmigaPapst

Thanks for the info.

Has anyone heard whether or not ACube will be running any kind of a trade-in discount deal for ?A1 owners with working G3s?

I dunno---"my thoughts, your thoughts" seems like a pretty open field.

ooooooh...the coveted banana...

I've actually got a few new apps that I've created with Hollywood; but I don't want to upload them until the new Hollywood is released (which is supposed to be any day now).

Has any other users of Hollywood noticed big slow-downs in most transition and move effects since upgrading to OS 4.0 Final? I know that I have; but I might have some obvious setting misconfigured.

You are right. The .iso gets stuck at 4.29496 GB.

So where can I down load your DVD burning tool?

Actually, I was planning on experimenting with burning >4GB .iso files using FryingPan at the moment.

I guess I misunderstood this quote from Hyperion's website:
"64 bit support for file sizes."

I also noticed that the SFS webpage does not have a link to SFS2 anymore.

Strange.

Something else should be added. He has recently been able to receive PayPal payments directly through his e-mail address. (Though you should still let him know about your intention to register FryingPan before sending payment.)

@tldaley

Thanks Trev for the tip; it worked great.

I must admit that it was kind of tricky (for me) figuring out how to use FryingPan, but once I did, it sure worked well---easy and fast!
