@Valiant,
TuneNet is looking for an assign called:
"TBImages"
which should be set up when AISS installs.
Open a cli and type:
assign
..to see if TBImages is listed. If it isn't then something has gone wrong with the AISS installation. Try installing AISS again is my suggestion.
Mason: Any ideas?
Cheers, Bean.

Quote: It works with mpega.library.os4 installed as mpega.library. Ah! If you use the 020 versions of this library you must install the glue library files. I will put a check into the system in future to make sure this is the case. Glad you got it going. Now have a play around with it, install some plugins, try some dock skins and enable the AISS "Graphical" buttons.... etc etc..

... I'll take a closer look when get home.
In the mean time can you install the mpega.library. It shouldn't need it (unless you want to play MP3's). But I think I may have introduced a bug since the previous version.
See OS4 depot for library.

@mitch,
Can you open a cli and type:
echo "0" > ENVARC:TuneNet/RealTime/iscan
..and press return.
You can use the setenv command instead of the above, but I'm not on an OS 4 machine ATM so can't be sure of the syntax, it is something like:
setenv SAVE TuneNet/RealTime/iscan 0
Any difference after that?
Cheers, Bean.

@Mitch,
Odd. Can you answer the following so I can help you out:
1/ What update of OS4 are you running? 2/ Does anything appear on the screen? 3/ Can you type "tunenet ?" from the cli and tell me if you get any response that way? (help text)
I notice you haven't got the MPEGA library installed (required by the MP3 plugin), but that shouldn't matter at all... unless I messed something up.
I'll test from a basic OS4 installation tonight and let you know.
Cheers, Bean.

I can't get it to work in new version, not sure if it has been fixed to now work?
I can actually play mp3's with AmigaAmp + ANR with FTPMOUNT, though not skip inside the song...
@haymigga, Didn't get a chance to test this in the end , what with everything else. Can other people try this out and report their findings, before I look into it? Cheers, Bean.

@Chris, Damn, I just wrote a page long response and the pressed the wrong sodding button! Anyway, quick answers. 1/ No, but I'll improve the API for you to do this and will release it as a service release very shortly. 2/ Frequencies and Channels are internally mixed by TN, but it expects 16 bit sound. There are several ways to convert 8 bit to 16 bit in the plugin, so I'll gladly help you out here. In short - I'll pm you, and send you the latest API. We can work it out then! As for saving the playlist this just goes to prove that you can't please everyone all of the time! But for you Chris I'll add it to the service list as a preference option! Cheers, Bean. P.S. Check PM in a moment.

@Mitch, That is more than an icon, it's actually a small docky skin to sit in the dock area on OS4. You can control the tunes with it. @Mason, Great looking skin! @All, I forgot to mention! Mason's excellent AISS icon package is supported within TuneNet. If you select a graphical level in TuneNet's preferences and restart you'll get full tapedeck control on the main window. Check it out here : http://www.masonicons.de/Cheers, Bean.

@Outcast, It's fixed and I'm looking to package up for Wednesday evening. It would have been sooner if I hadn't spent all evening trying to get my wireless bridge working again after one of my units died. Had to use a spare Netgear bridge/access point with a Linksys one... that wasn't fun. Especially after the firmware upgrade totally failed... Grrrr! Thankgod for TFTP and the foresight to download some other versions of the firmware just in case. Anyway, I'm back online now. Cheers, Bean.

Hi, Well - we are now very close to a new release. In fact we hope to have it in your hands by Sunday evening. I say we, because although you'll be getting an updated TuneNet package from me you'll also be getting a whole host of new goodies for TuneNet a few hours later from Curty! :) Not to raise false hopes there is no new skinable interface with this one or mic support. I've concentrated on other features, bug fixes and new support for playing and recording. I hope you all like it. Cheers, Bean.

Hi Jack, This is probably a silly question as I imagine you've checked everything else a million time over, but are you certain it's the CPU that's dead? I know Sicky, when he had an A1, bust his CPU. In the end he managed to get hold of a new CPU board somehow. Something tells me this will be an impossibility now though. He posts from time to time on AW, so you could probably PM him there. At any rate good luck with it all. Cheers, Bean.

Quote: Wow, just looked at the screenshots, so many plugins! It's really good to have support for so many formats. I have to thank the following people for all the great plugins: Olle - The first person to write a 3rd party plugin for TuneNet. Hope you get well soon! Curty - For adding AAC, FLAC and the upcoming SID and YM plugins. I believe he has a few more also! SpotUp - For compiling lib after lib for OS4! Much appreciated! ... let's hear it for the people above eh! Cheers, Bean.
