2022 - December - Santa's Monster Shootout - AmigaOS 4 - Ended

Hi,

Since it is December and X-mas is approaching, I thought we'd do one competition for Classic Amiga and one for AmigaOS 4.

As suggested by 328gts, the main game this month is Santa's Monster Shootout from Entwickler-X.

Snowy valleys, Christmas bells and Santa Claus is preparing gifts for christmas. A normal december. Really? No, something is different this year...

Monsters and Zombies from all the world are trying to steal the gift packages, they want it all and they want it now.

But Santa don't own just a jute sack full of gifts and a rod... he also have guns, big guns. Guns to defeat infinite waves of monsters to protect the gift packages.

Help Santa to ged rid of the evil breed and bring us happy holidays!

How To Play:

- The primary weapon has infinite ammo, it is not very strong but always available.

- Shoot as many enemies you can to earn money for purchasing new pistols, guns and refill ammo in the shop.

- Pick up ammo clips and health packages to keep you alive while playing a level.

- On each level, you must fight against a big end monster to go to the next level. From level to level the game gets harder.

The game can be downloaded from OS4Depot:

http://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... santasmonstershootout.lha

The contest runs until December 31st.

Good luck folks, and hope you'll enjoy the game!

PS! The winner of this months contest will receive a prize in form of a small bag of CANDY! I'm excluded from this of course, so if I win, the prize will go to the one in 2nd place.

-----( Final Standings )-----

1. 328gts - December 31st - 20550 kills - Level 90
2. Antique - December 30th - 15064 kills - Level 51
3. TSK - December 24th - 2716 kills - Level 45
4. Jabirulo - December 23rd - 1262 kills - Level 26
5. Levellord - December 22nd - 834 kills - Level 11
6. VooDoo - December 24th - 788 kills - Level 20

The winner of the contest is 328gts! Congratulations! The 1st price, a bag of candy, will be sent to you in the mail!

Thanks to all who participated in the competition.

2022 - December - Santa's Xmas Caper - Classic Amiga - Ended

Quite a regular

Hi everyone,

Are you ready for some festive Amiga gaming?

This month we will be playing an old Amiga game called Santa's Xmas Caper from Zeppelin Games. It was released back in 1992, and should work on most configurations. If you want to play it on your AmigaOS 4 setup or PC, you can use E-UAE.

You can find information and downloads on LemonAmiga:

https://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=929

The contest runs until December 31st.

Good luck everyone, and hope you will have fun playing the game!

PS! The winner of this months contest will receive a prize in form of a small bag of CANDY! I'm excluded from this of course, so if I win, the prize will go to the one in 2nd place.

No winner due to lack of participants.

I'm thinking we should play a Christmas game for what is left of December. What do you think? I see there are quite a few for Classic Amiga, so maybe go for that this time?

@Raziel

Well, you do get the following included if you purchase the boxed version:

3.5" floppy disk
Cardboard box with slipcase (23 x 18.5 x 2.5 cm)
Mission patch
Developer's autograph card
MicroSD card including disk images and more
Manual (DIN A5, English)
Quick guide "How to Play Interactive Fiction"
Stickers
Poster (Din A3)
Shrink-wrapped

I don't think 35 EUR is too much to ask for a boxed, new game with all those extras.
