blank CLI window during OS4 Final boot

Since installing OS4 Final whenever I reboot I get a blank CLI window I have to resize in order to see the Workbench screen. (Clicking the close gadget does nothing.) At first the window contained errors in my User-Startup script, but I've corrected them so they don't show up anymore, but the window still refuses to go away. Any ideas as to what's wrong?

RWO
Sorry, I made a mistake in the name. It should be antspotlight, an Xscreensaver. "Antspotlight draws an ant (with a headlight) who walks on top of an image of your desktop or other image."

Is anyone else having problems with context menus in the new release? I can right-click and the relevant menu comes up, but when I try to select an item from it nothing happens.

Sorry, I guess I didn't make myself clear. I understand it doesn't use the CW. What I'm trying to understand is if you can use the new drivers inspite of the fact that a CW is installed. Does having a CW installed in the hardware path cause any problems?

Does it read through the CatWesel hardware if you have one in place? In other words does it just ignore the CW as though it isn't there?

There was a ftp mirror for os4depot some time back, but the guy hosting it didn't want to continue doing so. So at the moment it's not possible to download using ftp. Thanks for the info, orgin. That's too bad as some things like comparing files are easier to do using an ftp client.

If you try to use Repeat Playlist with Shuffle Play, it starts out working OK, but eventually it ends up just playing the first song in the list over and over again. Is there any way to randomly loop through the playlist?

I bought a Digital Concepts 21-in-1 Card Reader/Writer which has four slots that can read 21 different types of memory cards. Just plugged it in and it worked right off the bat. So you shouldn't have any problems with something that sits in a bay.
