Also once deleted file from Devs:NetInterfaces and make again via Prefs:Internet
IP (Host address)"Not configured" is in Ranger/Network interfaces - see bottom
Peer and broadcast addresses are also "Not configured"

Hi,

please, can somebody succseeds connect Sam440ep-flex with 1 GbE PCI card?
I tried three different PCI RTL8169 ( at least one of them works in AmigaOne X1000 ) and with no traffic.

I can select the driver, it is visible on Ranger, but IP is allways "Not configured".
Sometimes when I change something in Internet Prefs, it receive IP. But after reset allways the same - IP "Not configured"

Any idea? Sam have two free slots, so a little bit faster internet is pleasure.

Anyway, after bigfoot finish new graphic drivers for MorphOS, there will be time for second Pegasos 2 upgrade and testing of PCIe card. OpenFirmware not works with PCIe bridges, but Pegasos can autoboot to system. We will see...

I have last official 1.1.1, but PCI initialization in this firmware is far from ideal. I need it for more special PCIe graphics card testing.
BTW, I have U-Boot 1.2.0 in my Micro A1-C. Please is there some software tool for U-Boot extraction?

yes, I am using it on Sam440ep-flex. It is much faster for price of different lighting. I.e. worse, because original Doom3 was dark.
But not tested last two betas, because my Sam is dismantled now.

Radeon HD work on my AmigaOne XE with interrupts now.
Or at least now missing this annoying message:
RadeonHD.chip (0): UBoot has not initialized the graphics card's interrupt line. Disabling interrupts.

fisrt serial in CFE ( acc to CFE manual ) is activated "set console uart0"
so try "set console uart1". I am not tested it, have connected only first one.

It probably not works with Pegasos 2.

For sure it will not works with Open firmware.
Long time ago I tested HD4350 PCI version ( in real it is PCIe version with incorporated PEX 811x bridge ).
Open firmware was black, but it autoboots to MorphOS and works. But very lazy and slow. And others PCIe cards not works for me these days. But maybe with transparent bridge...

Anyway, when I finish my couple of testing, I can test it also here on Pegasos 2, both with AOS and MOS. But I wait till bigfoot finished new graphics drivers.

I know that this is a very very old post.

But I succsseed to get a Radeon HD 7xxx working in an AmigaOne XE !
It works with transparent PCI-PCIe bridge ( chip P17C9X ).
Not works with PEX8111 ( "RadeonHD card successfully opened", but black screen ).

It is nice, but far from ideal. As Helloworld tested, it works only on PCI 33 MHz slot, and there is no interrupt on graphics card.
And the worst is, that Warp3D-SI not works, allways crash. Thus MiniGL have to be redirected via MiniGL4GL4ES to Warp3D Nova.

I will try make some interrupt research .

please, can you check the game GLQuake with Warp3dSI ?
I have Warp3dSI, RadeonHD v.5 X1000, MiniGL last from AmigaOS and this game not works.
With very very early versions it works ( if I remember it exactly ). I am suspicious about newer MiniGL, but I not made detailed debugging.

yes, on X1000 it will be super-playable. In .cfg can be many details reduced ( here is detailed guide: https://tweakguides.pcgamingwiki.com/Doom3_1.html ) Our .cfg should be the same, but I recommend not to change our default .cfg, but write modifications on autoexec.cfg instead.

I will try make playable Huno's port also on sam440ep-flex, it has 4.3 fps with older beta (and with ARB renderer) on full details and resolution.
But it takes time, my Sam is without PCEe bridge and HD gfx just now, due to testing of my AmigaOne XE.

Btw, upto now I am not succseed to run Domm3 on XE. It looks like newer versions of RadeonHD and Warp3DNova are not enough betatested with XE ( only few people have XE with PCIe card, if any ). But I will post exact details when I finish with PCI interrupts there .
