@samo79 Quote: Fuzion designed that skin, and is working on that again. I just wanted to show that the skin system is pretty flexible and can handle skins from other players as well. Cheers, Bean.

@samwel Quote: What about smooth edges? 32bit, or this a OS limitation? The whole skin can be designed in 32bit ARGB, but window edges are either on or off. I await the next SDK to see if any improvements have been made in this department - I'm not a beta tester. Cheers, Bean.

@All Many of you saw the screenshots of TuneNet's fully scalable skin at around the time of BB4 last year. Here is something else to show of the flexibility of the new skinable system: http://amigans.net/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=76..yes, it's an ANR skin. ..and yes it does move around, and yes it does function. Cheers, Bean.

Well, maybe I'm the only one but I don't see any reason to have 32 bits pointers. :-/ Maybe I'll change my mind when I'll see a wonderful pointer.
Hey, 32bit pointers rock, these for example are semi see through and have a nice shadow on them. They use proper alpha shades rather than the old dithering trick used in some A1200 pointers. FuZion, Nice work. Cheers, Bean.

I'm working on a selection of 32-bit pointers. Hopefully, there'll be something for everyone in there. I'll hopefully have them on OS4Depot by next weekend.

Looking forward to it FuZion. 32-bit pointers rock!

@SZAMAN
Ok, fixed and updated and in the OS4 Depot upload que.
Reports as V0.84.84 (though have a feeling I didn't update the version number on OS4 Depot description).
Enjoy hopefully! :)

@xeron Mainly OS4 native apps, which is why the question originally popped into my head. I showed off Cyginx (X11) - running Gimp etc, Universe Two demo, OS4 components (PDF, RawDisk etc..), Hively Tracker got a run out , the latest iBrowse (with Flash plugin), Vice, AVD SDK Browser, MPlayer and DVPlayer with overlay, and a quick demo of how easy it is to construct full size skins in TN. Cheers, Bean.

@xeron Quote: I don't think so, no. Why? No real reason, other than it crossed my mind when I was demonstrating OS4 at the ANT computer group this afternoon. By the way, people seem generally impressed with OS4. It ran really well all afternoon, (come on hardware - appear again - there's some takers here). Cheers, Bean.

Hi,
Is it possible to turn the 68K emulation off entirely under OS4?

Seriously?
I can't reproduce this at all. Can you tell me exactly what to do to make it freeze. I've tried many things, but it all seems to work fine.

Edit: - Now version 0.84.84 (on OS4 Depot).
To stop TuneNet crashing all over the place, please download version V0.84.82. Currently in the upload que on OS4 Depot.
Sorry about the problems caused, they only came to light after shoutcast changed their site slightly, and that uncovered a stupid bug.
Cheers, Bean.

Phew...... Nothing worse than a hardware scare, especially as the boards cannot be (easily) replaced.
Don't forget to reset your UBoot settings (UDMA etc..)

Hi Valiant, Quote: and I still have a fondness for it as well as a lot of playlists Me too, though regarding the AmigaAmp playlists you should be able to use these in TuneNet as well. Just get rid of the #?.m3u pattern in the TuneNet Load Playlist requester and select an AmigaAmp playlist. Cheers, Bean.
