@MickJT
About UAE for SDL2 still work in progress...
UAE for SDL1 accelerated ported, fast but not optimized.
I forgot to tell that all the satellite SDL2 libraries have been ported by me during all the test process, but i forgot to put in the OS4depot. Now i see that Michael done the work.
Thank you Michael, great job, as always.

@walkero
"May I ask something? As soon as we install the library, every app / game that uses the SDL, starts using the new one?"
No, unfortunately.
Games or apps compileted for SDL1 will use (if present) SDL1 libraries, and games or apps compiled for SDL2 will use (if present) SDL2.
A few game should come, btw...
Just a little time is needed.

@thread
SDL2 stable beta release is very close now.
Let's say thank you to Capehill. He have done really an incredible work (with an incredible amount of time too) I'ts not a rough port, but he done a fine Amiga port of the SDL2 libraries using the accelerated compositing and accelerated MiniGL and, in future, even W3D Nova could be used. SDL2 is very fast and this will make possible the port of many nice games.
P.S. Don't forget to contribute to the project.

@Thread
Just to inform that SDL2 is going forward. Again Capehill is doing a great work, making SDL2 an excellent port, one of the best port on AmigaOS4.
The release is very close.
Please support the project.

I have the Sam440ep, with integrated radeon M9. After several tries i managed to set the video resolution to 1600x1050@60 hz. Notice that even after tried with lower res, the system wasn't able to boot to workbench. I could hear the startup jingle only with no video on screen.

Hello everyone,
i've changed the screen resolution to 1600x1050 @60 HZ, but OS4 doesn't boot up in workbench anymore.
There is a quick way to rebert back to the old resolution?
Thank you

E-UAE port to SDL2 is (slowly) progressing.
There are many things that have to be adapted to SDL2, so it could take a while.
@SpotUp
"Why E-UAE and not FS-UAE? E-UAE haven't been updated since ages."
You're right. E-UAE, as someone already pointed out, have PPC JIT already implemented. Btw, the FS-UAE author has been contacted and already gave us some important hint for future porting his more advanced emulator.
We have to thank you again Capehill for his oustanding work on SDL2 and Michael T. for the precious info on configure.

Another viable solution is to use E-Uae amigfx, but using compositing where possible. Audio still a problem, tho.

Hello everyone,
it took a while to compile, but finally i got E-Uae Jit compiled for the sdl1 with compositing.
First of all i have to thank some people:
* Michael T. for the great tricks he gave me with the configurations files * Capehill for the incredible job he done with the SDL1 compositing and what he's doing now with the SDL2 porting. * Álmos Rajnai for the work he've done with the just in time compiler with E-Uae.
First tests indicates that uae is fast (only full screen, atm and no benchmark available) and there are rooms for improvments. Graphics is very fluid. Still a few glitches with the audio. The hardware is the little Sam440 ep.
Next step is to port SDL E-Uae to SDL2, where two type of accelerated rendering will be available (thank you again to Capehill).
Next next step is to use W3D nova, not possible at the moment, cause i don't have a compatible system, nor Capehill have one :(.
I may try to use a PCI riser card, but i don't know if will be of any benefits apart getting the compatibility with W3D nova. At this point shaders could be used to speed up some things and if other expert volunteers would come into play.
Any suggestions?
