Just set up AbiWord and GNumeric on my Sam flex-800 & I must admit they are very impressive as I was able to transfer some fairly complicated .xls spreadsheets from my work PC with no problems....as for the speed, I find it's very usable and don't notice a slow down with the above noted programs though I must admit Netsurf is quite a bit slower than OWB. Overall great work and looking forward to a game package and maybe a nice database in the future

well was mesing around with my AHi setting trying to get my SB Live to work properly & accidentally messed up my AHI file in my PREFS folder  now I can't even oprn up the AHI...time to get the OS4.1 CD out i guess

another update: 4 satellite speakers working & sounding great (still no sub woofer though) for approx 3 to 4 minutes & thne the osund suddenly cuts out

trying to get a SB Live card working in my Sam flex but no luck..I understand I have to use the emu10kx driver in os4.1 but can't get a sound out of her anyone running a SB Live with Sam flex know what setting I should be using in AHI? oops had the wrong frequency..changed it to 44,100 & know I have the 4 satellite speakers working great but no sub base?

well....it took me a while to get my Samantha @800 up & running but it was worth it !! Sam@800 setup ready to go !

@clint thanks..refer to post No. 5 still, being a small business owner myself, I can tell you that customer service is everything & Hyperion should have AT LEAST responded to my many emails to them..not to mention posts on Amiga sites....

@saimo Simone I have a MAJOR complaint about BOH !..........................basically it's too damn addictive ) I've been playing it now for a week on my Sam flex@800 and it just flies in full screen (1024x768)....got that tune in my head steady! I'm gonna be the big 'four o' this Feb and I feel like back when I was 15 running home to play Ultima IV ...THANK YOU

well tonight I tried 3 different email addresses and by luck I managed to create an account with the 3rd email address !...fianlly can get my extra 512Mb into my Sam & close my case..crazy shit

tried with OWB, IBrowse on my Amiga & also Firefox on my PC..still no go..contacted Amigakit & sent webmaster at hyperion's webpage emails so hopefully problem will be resolved soon

@Slayer nah i tried every media possible but my Sam just wasn't happy with the LG Burners for whatever reason..exact same setup with same SATA cable with a LiteOn Burner & now she's happy
