Re: International shipping advice

@Plaz

Paypal works fine for me as well. I buy a lot classic Amiga kit from eBay. Shipping costs from the USA to Europe (and vice versa) can be quite high. Also import duties can be applied if shipping between different custom zones.

I'd certainly want Opus Magellan running on my A1's. How about a brief status update from Guru Meditation?

I could be wrong but I got the impression that the author of Paihia was not interested in doing an OS4.0 version atm?

Re: ScummVM 0.9.1 - Classic Amiga anyone help?

@Mikey_C

I quickly downloaded Scummvm 0.91 for 68K classic on my Amiga 4000/PPC/060 with CV64/3D.

As a test I also downloaded the free CD version of Beneath a Stee Sky and attempted to play the game.

Once I set the Amiga settings in scummvm it seemed to play OK. However I had to play in a smaller windowed mode rather than full screen. It bwould either not startup on a full screen or crash if I tried to change to full screen when it was tunning in a window. Could just be my set up?

When I get some time I will try Monkey Island 3 or Broken Sword 1 & 2 and report back.

@Thread

Thanks for all the advice. I want to be able to switch between an A1-XE (OS4F) & A1200/PPC (OS4PR) & A4000/PPC (OS3.9 & Morphos Power-UP). I will investigate the options suggested.

Many thanks,

Monitor/Keyboard switch
Not too shy to talk
Not too shy to talk

Hi I wonder if any Amigan is able to help.

Can anyone can recommend a Monitor and or keyboard switch that is compatible with A1/OS4.0 & Amiga Classic (CVPPC & CV64) displays. I want to connect 2 or 3 Amigas to the same monitor.

I am also interested in possibly using one keyboard to control several Amigas. I have seen comments in the past on other forums about KVM switches but having looked at their website the it's diffecult to know what is compatible?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

@Valiant

I initially had a problem with AmigaAmp under OS4 Final, until I realised I was running an earlier version (v2.15) I downloaded the latest v2.17 and now all working OK.

Edit the button to say:

I made sure I had the current version of Lha installed (I did) and edited the Extract button in DOpus 4.18 config.

I had to play around a little with the lha command and options but finally got it to work with:-

AmigaDos SYS:C/lha x -x -a {f} ram:

Anyway thanks for your help (once again )

Has anyone else experienced GR's when attempting to use the Extract button to decompress an archive with the 4.18 version of DOpus?

I get a GR under both pre-release 4 and Final release 4 when attempting to use the Extract button on a lha file.

Note: the file extracts OK if I drag it from the source to destination window.
