I got a Radeon 7000 64MB doing nothing here... too bad you live so far away . And yes it works very well with the a1, both AOS 4 and Linux. I would sell it for 10 euro or there about.

Read what MichaelMerkel wrote. That is what happens here too, has happend with PC-hardware and winblows and also happend on my a4k using MakeCD and the internal IDE-port.

In other words, don't do anything while you're writing a CD ... or formating a CDRW for that matter...

That is how you edit env-archives in AOS and it's really simple (compared to winblows, don't understand nothing there ) ....

Just load/create the file and save it... that's it... simple! Use EditPad or NotePad depending on the AOS you use (guesing on NotePad for AOS 4 )...

Runing usbmgr in linux (kernel 2.4.x) will make my HP LaserJet 1010 work in AOS 4.0. Maybe looking at the sources in that program can give be of some help?

Don't feel upset about the lack of hardware! I know it sucks (easy to say typing this from AOS 4 final) but when it's there, you've bought it and sits there with AOS 4 you won't even remember that you thought that way.

That information won't tell you anything really. I ran sysinfo on my a4k with a CSPPC (060@50MHz) and on a P2 @ 350MHz in WinUAE with JIT. I got better results in WinUAE but in real tests the a4k felt faster, allways...

Old 2D games works fine on my A1 (G4 @ 800MHz) including Slamtilt wich is an AGA game.

The easy solution is to put this in your user-startup:

It sounds like the CPU-module moved a little and caused it not to conect to the MB... but I'm probably wront ... Glad that you got it going again

It wasn't a one-man-project from the begining. The news items at ANN, where I first read it, said that they where... I think four guys... that had worked with webbtechnology in one way or the other. So they where to write this new browser in one year. That didn't happen as we all know and everyone that read the subject where very suspicious. However, it seems to be true for once and I was suspicious also and had this good feeling about it and was right about it too ...

Anyway... the question is, is it just one man working on it and why did the others leave?

I'm waiting for this browser too since it's very interesting and promising...

I hope that he will give a more clear answer to this than what I write from my not so clear memory ...
