Don't ask me why but I have a tingly feeling that OS4.1 final update will be released tomorrow (Fri Dec 18/09)..1 week to play with before Christmas Day

weird as Quake 3 flies on my Sam flex @800 with full sound blaring...I just installed ioquake3 with no special modifications at all

edit:
actually correction..I had to reinstall the quickfix for 4.1 as at first I was getting the 'green' screen..after I installed the quickfix the 2nd time all was well

UPDATE:

Ed, downloaded the time zone manager and installed as per you instructions but don't notice any difference?..is there something else I have to do once I install the update??

also, I still can't figure out how to get a picture of mine as the workbench backdrop??where exactly can I find the environment variables??

btw, for some reason my x11setup screen won't let me view other pics in the background folder where the other Amicygnix backdrops are?? tried converting jps to png and still no luck

bit off topic but does anyone know how to use and save a signature with SimpleMail v0.33...I can't figure it out..and when I actually save a sig my system crashes...

I tried this out and it does have a definite performance increase in E-UAE overall on my Sam though still slow to be enjoyable for many games
