The link says that the game is being developed on AmigaOS 4 and runs also on windoze. Do you know something newer than that?

Everything seems to be in order with the updated prefs tools.

@ Raziel & whose

I never said that's author's fault.

You don't get a DSI error, because you haven't renamed the file to anything else obviously. If you rename it to something else, then the installer will not find it, and you got a DSI error.

Prefs doesn't want to run if you call it from AmiUpdate (since 2.19), but it runs if you run it from APPDIR:. It says the following:

Quote:
The application "Updates" has opened version 1 of the
interface "application", but tried to pass version 2
tag definitions to application.lib!

Please inform the author about the problem.

Note: The called function (and hence probably the application itself) will fail now.

Also I got a DSI error, when AmiUpdate tried to install the latest 2.20 version. I got it when it tried to copy the CopyStore.relnotes file (actually it didn't find it to overwrite it as I have renamed this already).

makefile problem with CubicIDE
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

I've just installed CubicIDE today together with the latest AmigaOS 4.1 SDK (53.20), following trixie's guide over here: http://www.amigans.net/modules/AMS/article.php?storyid=30

The problem arises when I try to create a makefile via CubicIDE. I open a source file, try to create a makefile, but I got errors, thus I cannot actually execute a source code.

Any ideas what's wrong?

I tried to visit the site, but it says the URL not found. Is this temporary?

I have a problem with TuneNet too. While it was playing a stream, I loaded up Annotate but it was unable to use the pull-down menus, actually this is happening in every program you run after TuneNet.

@ Raziel

I think both an extra sound card and a network card is still fitted.

I'm planning for a CatWeasel MK4+ when my PCI slots will be empty.

Although my daily browser is MUI-OWB, the times I used Timberwolf in my Pegasos2 system didn't have these problems. Actually I don't exactly remember when was the last time TW was crashed actually. Yes, it's not extremely fast, but it's not slow as hell either. Something between probably.

Hope Thomas to recove quickly.

I chose 6570 for myself. I'm not into deep 3D stuff anyway, I just wanted to have a good performance for daily use. I hope that this card will do the job just fine.

@ Paul

Inside LIBS: there's a directory named 'Charsets'. Check if that's empty. If yes, reinstall codesets.library from OS4Depot.

There is only one version of MUI-OWB currently for AmigaOS 4.1, and that's v1.9.

Although does it has to do with the codesets.library? Check your codesets directory in LIBS:. Just a thought.

I tried that also, it tries to open a window but then it quits. Although a newest version would be better.

Did you check your locale prefs? I don't know if they play a serious part in MUI-OWB though.

Greek is ISO-8859-7. I checked that newegg.com site, but I have not any problems, it's all in english.
