Found the reason. It turns out some files inside Classes drawer were overwritten by older ones from ClassAct. Replaced from Boingbag2 and the problem is fixed.

AmigaOS 3.9 - AsyncWB bug?

When I press Amiga + E to open "Execute Window", I have to click inside the text field to start typing something (the window is active by default but the text field is not choosen). If I start typing before I do this, AmigaOS freezes (caps lock still works). Is this a known bug or something wrong with my configuration? (probably something to do with a patch I have) I can see that there is an AsyncWB 45.23 here: http://amiga-mania.orgfree.com/Patchs/OS_Patchs.htmlBut I can not find it anywhere. The one I have is 45.22

Isn't there some kind of networking standard?

In my opinion, people shouldn't need to install other software for networking on AmigaOS4. It should be integrated and people should be able to Network with their Macs and Windows7 PC's easily.
If I have a Mac and a Windows7 PC on my network, AmigaOS4 should tell me that that are two computers on this network, identify them and add itself to the network.

There is an updated version in aminet.
You're not talking about the m68k-amigaos version which I uploaded to Aminet just recently, are you? While this version can probably be used on AmigaOS4.x it's not recommended to do so as it doesn't have all of the features of the ppc-amigaos version and also has some workarounds in order to run on older AmigaOS versions.
I'm using it on OS 3.9 :) Thanks!

Let's just wait a while. The value of Amiga trademark will keep falling due to Amiga Inc. licencing the name to tablet pcs, refrigerators, tvs, pressure cookers, dogie bags, toilet papers and eventually T-Shirts.
Then Hyperion can take it. And CUSA won't be able to take it because we don't want it. Isn't there a law for this? A law which prevents someone from buying some competing value and destroying it? (I mean buying a competing operating system (even if 10000 people use it, it's still a competing value) and destroying it and using Windows or some other OS)

Amiga users would want Hyperion to own Amiga name.

Amiga Netbook. I will wait and see if X1000 prices drop or not. My credit card simply is not big enough to support that kind of money :P

I have a weird problem. I edited some security settings of Windows7 and the folder I want to share.
On the PC (Windows7 x64) side, I can not see the Amiga.
On the Amiga (OS3.9 with boingbag4) side, I can connect to the folder and see the files there. But when I try to copy the files, filesize changes and also files on the PC are shown without a default icon.
Then I found this:
If use an Amiga shell to copy the files, things work properly. Also if I use UnARC to unarchive archives directly from the PC to Amiga, files unarchive properly.
The problem is with copying files by dragging icons from workbench or using Dopus5 Magellan.
EDIT: The file is still corrupt when copied from Amiga shell (although filesize does not change)

@LiveForIt
The minimize animation in windoze7 aero does not slow anything down. After all it's hardware accelerated.

Yes I know. Unfortunately it never worked properly on my CVisionPPC. There were artifacts left on screen due to a bug it has. There was even the source code available with it but nobody fixed it.

What do you think about having and optional animated window minimize, close and open for AmigaOS4 by default?
For example Windows open like a water balloon (quickly) and when you close them, they pop. There could be other options, but even having only one would be great for our cute OS.

Can Xena be used for Little-Big Endian conversion thus speeding up the x86 emulation? (It is possible that I have no idea what I'm talking about. I may even be surprised if what I just wrote makes any sense at all)

This would be a legaly binding thing. And I don't think we have any right to employ a programmer (giving him montly wages) this way. Bounties are suitable for this but would everybody pay 10$ a month.

@xenic Quote: I think that's the user headspace bug It's happened to me on every version of AmigaOS. If you double-click on a folder and immediately press the shift key to start selecting multiple files in the window that opened, the folder icon is still selected and gets copied too. You have to click the first icon in the folder before pressing the shift key to select other icons. Try it yourself and you will see what happened.
There is another similar bug in at least 2.1 3.0 3.1 3.5 3.9 When I started or used a program that opened a screen a window or something similar, and kept pressing the screen change button (the right uppermost one) really fast, everything on screen would freeze. I think it's a severe bug. If two gui actions happen at the same time, system freezes. Like a new window pops up or a screen opens at the same time you click to change screens. It doesn't always happen. But when it does, you know why it happened.
