That is, for sure, another good point no one works for free..

Let's hope that A-Eon will look for a solution in the near future maybe after the release of LibreOffice. It would be a dream to have a dedicated group of developers just for Firefox.. (me dreaming I know..)

with right amiga and T you open a new tab, while with the left amiga and the numbers you switch from one tab to another.. So if you have 3 tabs opened, starting from the very left, if you press 1 you select the first, 2 you select the second and 3 you select the last one.

I have added a bootable partition to Parthenope's bootloader and now I have two boot partitions that I can choose at startup. These two partitions are the DH0: and the DH7:. When I boot from DH7: i can hide the DH0: from the Workbench's preference and this is very handy because avoid confusion but what I would like to do is to not mount the DH0: at all. So i tried to use the Mounter's tooltype options and that's what i did after reading the documentation:

PUBSCREEN=Workbench
DEVICE=sii3114ide.device
UNIT=0
PARTITIONS=DH7: |ADH8: |DH1: |DH5:
(NOUNMOUNT)
(NOREMOUNT)
(QUIET)
(MASK=<hex value>)
(CX_PRIORITY=0)
CX_POPKEY=alt shift f10
CX_POPUP=YES
DONOTWAIT


If I understood right, the UNIT option and the PARTITIONS option should be used together and in the PARTITIONS option I should set the name of the partitions that I want to mount and that's what I did but it doesn't work as it should because I can still "see" the DH0: from the Shell and, that's strange for me, if I try to run the Mounter program it doesn't work, I cannot see any gui on the Workbench, but if I comment the tooltype options of the program's icon except for the DEVICE I can see the program's gui.

What am I doing wrong?

Honestly, it is very simple. When you install AmigaOS, it automatically sets the bootloader up so that it recognizes more than one operating system if present. My fault was to use an incorrect file system for the os partition. I reformatted my partition using sfs and everything went fine.

Hi,

I need your help because I would like to know how can I add another boot partition in the very first boot menu that appears when you power on the Sam440ep. I have just created another boot partition with a clean AmigaOS4.1FE installed but at startutp I can only 'see' one partition.. How can I add the second 'new' partition in the boot menu selector?

I tried OdysseyLauncherPE but it doesn't work for me.. I followed the instructions but, for example, when i try to open a link in a mail (I use SimpleMail) a requester pops up and tell me : "Insert disc Odyssey"http:" Process 300: "Background CLI", if i choose 'Cancel' another requester pops up and tell me: "Insert disc APPDIR" Process 300 "Background CLI"

What's my mistake?

I tested a lot DVPlayer with Stephen Fellner with my Sam440ep and I am able to play dvd without problems and most of dvx files.. what Emotion Player do better is to play dvx files smoother than dvplayer on my sam440ep mini-itx but it has problems with the audio.. here the audio has some lag but the video is ok.. With dvd movie DVPlayer is better than Emotion, here on my setup..

I was able to activate my copy thanks to Alinea Support but now I have another problem and maybe you can help me :)

The program starts without problems but when I try to open the "Editor" from "Settings->Editor" nothing happens.. i can open the "Classes file" and "Text" options without problems but i cannot open the Editor option.. I used snoopy to see what was wrong and I discovered that there is a FAIL about the chooser.gadget so I checked my system and I have it inside my Sys:classes/gadgets dir and its version is: chooser.gadget 53.21

So what do I need to make it work?

I have just bought the new Storm5CEd, during the installation process it ask me about a registration code but I haven't found any registration code inside the archive or inside the email.. Where is it? Is there someone who bought it?
