Or maybe its enough to just improve diskimage device, so it can have ability to "repack" to the ISO. Or maybe some programm based around diskimage device which will give ability to create ISOs.

mkisofs will create ISOs without too much trouble. I have a script for creating rescue disks with it.

http://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... =utility/misc/mkisofs.lha

It probably wouldn't be too hard to create a front end with ProAction / python or REXX.

The bigger issue is writing them to disk. MakeCD works and is free.

Er sorry NotePad is WORDWRAP MultiEdit uses the SCROLL option. Disable that tooltype to enable the gadget wrapparround.

The reasone for the different tooltype is that MultiEdit also support wordwrap as you type, which is a different feature.

Not sure if it's possible, so i'll post here first before opening a FR.

MultiEdit 1.12 (05.03.2019)

Sometimes i got really long text line with no line breaks (i.e. c&p from websites) and i have to manually set linebreaks to make them readable from within Notepad/MultiEdit, since both programs simply print the line as long as it is, which makes it hard to read and edit.
A workaround would be to use MultiView(er), but i cannot edit the text there.

My question would be, is it possible to add an option to MultiEdit to set linebreaks automatically at a given position, f.e. on column 80, and let MultiEdit figure out where to set the breaks for the whole text?

I'd be happy with a simple "word-breaking" mechanism (set the break between full words, but always respect the maximum column setting), but if it's doable a "word-splitter" would be neat as well (split words in "half" were allowed, while still maintaining the maximum column setting, e.g. astro-nomy).

edit:
It's more or less "word-wrapping" but not "as-you-type" but performed on a load text.

There is a WORDWRAP option in both programs (ME and NotePad) it's toggle option so whichever is set in the tooltypes can be overwritten on the command line.

WORDWRAP=YES causes long lines in the file to wrapped to fit the space available. This is display option, the file itself is not modified.

@redfox

AmiDock does not not support transparancy on systems without compositing either. What it does is take a screen grab of the screen behind it and use that blended with foreground as the fake transparency.

This was developed before real transparency was available, and thus made some sense to keep it when real transparency was added. It really doesn't make any sense to spend time on this when real transparency is available on by far the majority of machines.

However, you yourself can quite easily replicate this by taking a screen grab of the area behind your dock and using that as your backdrop image.

@redfox et al

Re Updater not finding X-Doxk, this is also true for myself. Also Tunenet and a few others, I'm really not sure what's up with that. Updater is not my responsibilty so (having other tasks) I lack the time to investigate more deeply just at the moment.

Though I don't install my enhancer to sys: and many of the ones missing have hardcoded paths like SYS:Utilities/X-Dock maybe the use of appdir: has been dropped here for some reason?

I'm runing Updater 53.70 but this issue is quite possibly in the database rather than the application.

Many thanks for your donation, that will pay for a new USB-C cable to replace the one our new ppuppy just ate through!

WRT the debug, are you seeing that from SketchBlock on the console or via serial from the driver? I though I had removed both but maybe not!

@kas1e

It's a tricky one, as the path cannot use an assign at that point as Iprefs is called too early. You can't use a relative path as that would be relative to SYS:

It probably needs me to write an install script to put the theme into SYS:Prefs/Presets/

SketchBlock Professional Edition 3,4 Now Available from Amistore
Home away from home
Home away from home

Really pleased to announce the release of SketchBlock Professional 3.4 the next step in my ever growing High Dynamic Range graphics painting and editing suite.

As well bring some new features this release compliments my recently release UGTablet driver (see OS4Depot) with the addition of tilt support.

New features include:

Extended path management, allowing adding deleting copying and merging paths in the same way as layers. This is complimented by some tightening up of the scriptedd in sketch GUI which gives smoother more predictable path editing. The path should no longer disappear when editing, so no need to nudge the sketch to get it to come back

Tilt support in the paint tool. Size and Colour can be controlled with the tilt of the stylus.

Editable ranges for the tilt and pressure scaling and opacaity etc giving much greater brush control

Bug fixes, including one really old but nasty one that was only spotted last release by kas1e.

All this is free to existing users of SketchBlock Professional Edition. If you thinks that's too good to be true there's a donation button on the documentation page at http://www.broad.ology.org.uk/amiga/sketchblock/

If you've not purchased it before it's available from AmiStore for just £15.00 plus VAT or for £10.00 if upgrading from SketchBlock Lite (log in to AmiStore to see your discount) .

Have fun and stay safe!

@devils_advisor

Hi I saw that someone had bought the lite version and wondered about that.

SketchBlock professional *is* on AmiStore, but there does seem to be some bugs affecting visibilty. Normally when I start AmiStore it's the first thing I see when in the large banner display mode, so I've never searched further but I see when you search by catagory for instance AmiStore only displays the first 12 out of 13 applications! Guess which one SketchBlock pro is!

Similar issues affect other types listings. I'll get on to Matthew about that, and hope he has time to fix it up.

In the mean time PM your email and I'll send you a private link to the latest beta. If you can include your amistire username I'll see if I can get Matthew to set you up a free licence for Pro, as the price of Lite and Fractals is the same as Pro.

Sorry for any issues you've had.

Andy

I've written a blog describing my development process as I reverse engineered and created a driver for the XP-Pen Deco 01 graphics tablet. I then talk a bit about adding tilt support to the SketchBlock paint tool.

I am trying to use Wacom Intuos Tablet (CTL-4100WL).

Alexandre Balaban added support for some Wacom tablet to his driver last year, but somehow this model is not working.

I noticed Alexandre's driver is based on your UCLogic driver while checking the source codes.

Yes but he has added quite abit of code.

THis latest driver diverges from the common parent abit too as the XP-Pen appears as several seprate USB devices (1 tablet 1 for buttons 1 for god knows what) unlike the UCLogic that only appears as a single device.

ALexandre is the best person to ask.

UGTABLET / XP-Pen USB Graphics Tablet Driver
Home away from home
Home away from home

I just uploaded a driver for USB tablets based on the UGTABLET chipset to OS4 depot. At the very least this supports the XP-Pen Deco 01 tablet.

It's based on my previous UCLogic driver code. The code needs some cleanup but is functional.

The driver supports, absolute X / Y positioning, pressure and tilt. And also supports the 8 assignable buttons which are mapped to the F1-F8 function keys by default.

The keys can be configured using environment variables but I intend to improve this in the future. The templates can be created by saving the settings from the GUI (bring that up by typing "ctrl alt u" the they are of the form

UGTablet/keys/1 through 8

each var has the template

<usbkey> <rawkey> <qualifier>

usbkey is the key you want mapped and rawkey and qualifier the values in decimal to map too.

The point about playing some music whilst recording was to assess just how loud the interference is. When all you have is interference to listen too it will sound much louder.

How is the video capture recording the audio? Which one is it?

If you play some music via TuneNet or other app how does the volume compare?
