drawstudio had been working well for me for years, until i updated to final edition. now it won't launch, complaining about it being unable to open its screen. adding chip memory via setpatch, by the way, doesn't help.
any ideas?
edit: by deleting the preferences file, it launched fine and i could set the screen up again. no worries.

@ChrisH just as an FYI -- if anyone can ping ryu or any of the other organizers. we could always use some promotion over on a.org. i just opened a thread on the show today, and there's *tons* of UK classic guys on a.org, so i would think a little hyping over there might be helpful. -- eliyahu

This year, we celebrate 30 years of the Amiga community. Little did anyone realize 30 years ago what shape the Amiga community would be in 30 years later. We're not sure anyone even thought about it those terms then. And Amiga has become a community, somewhat unique in the world of IT.
Dates for the show are October 16-18, 2015. and for folks interested in developing applications for next-generation amigas: Quote: Steven Solie, Hyperion Development Team leader and AOS4.x architect, has confirmed that there will be a 2015 Amiga DevCon preceding AmiWest 2015! He's excited about it and is already developing seminar materials for the event.
The aim of the 2015 DevCon and the three preceding conferences has always been to add new developers to the ranks of Amiga programmers. Prerequisites for this year's event include downloading and installing the most recent SDK, to be available shortly, and having OS4.1 Final Edition installed and running on your Amiga to bring to the DevCon. Steve also recommends reviewing posted materials from the previous three conferences on the Amiga Developer wiki as well as the other materials posted there as background for this year's DevCon.
Be prepared for a full two days of Amiga "C" programming hosted by some of the world's best AmigaOS programmers. Steve requests that as many of the participants as possible arrive by the evening of Wednesday October 14th to set up your software and equipment so that the DevCon can start promptly at 9 AM on Thursday, October 15. Go to the 2015 AOSPS page to fill out the registration form, whose dates will be updated soon. Go ahead and fill in your information anyway and we'll get it without delay. nice to see the photos. i used to participate in SUSE install-fests in NYC, and this is similar -- except it's amiga! i miss user groups from 'back in the day' and would love to see something like this for us amigans in the northeastern US.

works like a charm on my peg2 running FE. which version are you using? did you remember to edit network-startup to call wirelessmanager after you installed FE? did you remember to restore your ENVARC:Sys/Wireless.prefs after you installed FE? when you force the roadshow to restart, what output do you get?

@salass00 i mentioned both the updated datatypes with write support and the updates to filesysbox and your new filesystems during my presentation on final edition sunday morning. i'm not sure if that was streamed or not, though. @LyleHaze i also mentioned better MIDI support out of the box, including camd.library and TIMI included on the CD. -- eliyahu
