I somehow overlooked this before, but you shouldn't be printing to port 631. It should go to port 9100 for RAW or 515 for LPR. 631 is for IPP.

@broadblues

Can you stop MultiEdit opening the same file multiple times? It can open the same file in multiple tabs, which causes much confusion.

@walkero

I would be amazed if anybody was using a browser that had trouble with HTTPS, given how prevalent it is now. Mind you I'm constantly amazed that people still use iBrowse, given it can't do CSS.

Some news sites are apparently reporting Hyperion has announced AmigaOS 3.1.4.

@ChrisH

Sounds more like a backport of OS4 bits and pieces. Does the OS4 shell have native pipe support? I've never used it, but the OS3 shell allowed you to pipe to More, so I'm not sure what's missing.

I've decided against the LZMA changes beyond a minor update I'd apparently already merged, as they are more significant than expected and I can't be bothered with the fallout right now.

The version with fixed timestamps will be available from AmiUpdate tomorrow. (It will offer it today, but it's the old one still - didn't want to forget to change it )

@xenic

Well, it's fixed but I'm going to try to merge in the latest LZMA changes before I release it.*

* which may well un-fix it again

A-ha! Turns out my original swapping of high and low LONGs was actually correct, it doesn't need any other bytes swapped.

It's ten days out so I'll use salass00's epoch value and then evaluate whether it needs timezone correction.

Well I can see two differences:

1) The SEC_TO_AMIGA_EPOCH value you are using in your code is lower than in mine.

Only by ten days.

Quote:
2) You are not converting the time to local time. AmigaDOS expects date stamps to always be in local time unlike other systems like Windows and Linux where these are stored as GMT.

Again, this would only be a few hours. The results I'm geting aren't even in the right year.

Quote:
However if it is as xenic reported that the dates are different each time the same archive is extracted then there clearly is a serious problem somewhere else in the code.

I've fixed that particular bug. The structure had changed and I hadn't noticed as the variable names were the same.

I can't see what's different from my re-written version then

Thanks, I know about endianness, but whatever order I put these bytes in the datestamp comes out wrong.

@Srtest

Yes. And I got it the wrong way round - the click location is correct, but the page doesn't redraw. In theory should be easy to fix.

@Srtest

The add/remove tab bar redraws the page in the right place but the mouse pointer no longer lines up. This is an old bug which I've never bothered to investigate, as clicking back between the tabs sorts it.
Stick it on the bug tracker please and it might encourage me to look at it.
