Not sure about your 1Gb ram. I have been recently trying cheap ram from a company that sells via eBay. I have tested 256Mb, 512MB and 1Gb with varied success. It is all made by Samsung and is a lot less expensive that the Ram you listed. I will to post the results of my Ram tests to Intuitionbase once I get a chance.

I only have the IBrowse javascript disabled in JIT. IBrowse seems quite stable on my SAM440 system (although I am a beta tester and might have some more up to date files?)

However, I can confirm that OWB and Netsurf (AmicygnIX) work fine also.

I presume you installed the base system first then the tools package? Both installed automatically and make the assign for you. You should not have to manually assign Amicygnix. I think Netsurf is only available after you install the Tools packag.

It does not run from a JFX partition. I fell into that trap.

IMHO I think you should continue with the scheme. In my case the donation button reminds me to make a small donation to the 2 featured developers every month. I might not publicize my donation but I make one never-the-less. I'm sure there are many other Amigans who do the same.

Keep the scheme going I say.

Not sure if this is totally relevant to uboot but? Something I came across last time I changed a battery on a Micro A1-C. I saved my settings to a file using uboot prefs. But when I changed the battery and rebooted I discovered that not all the uboot settings had been saved and I was unable to boot my Micro-A1 from the HDD. Fortunately I had list of all my uboot settings printed and was able to recreate my uboot environment.
