@netrot

Did not try but it means you have to add OS no matter you buy just mobo or a full system. The only thing to concider is a free OS 4.2 upgrade when you buy X1000 system.

@netrot

Look at the X1000...

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/c ... cPath=37&products_id=1071

...it looks similar, the price of OS is included.

About 4.2, it was kind of reward/extra value for all customers.

Really, how come? Full system costs 2644€ and contains case, cheap GPU, 1GB RAM, HDD and DVDRW. How much for that, 400/500€?....and you get 2183€, for the mobo

@ssolie

One more question Do you consider some kind of upgrade path for the AOS4.1 owners? I think it's much harder to decide to buy a new system now while you know a newer, payable version is around the corner.

@samo79

Agreed but it was meant to be a stop-gap solution while we waiting for Gallium so maybe it's less important now when Gallium is almost done...

@kas1e

Is it possible dopus5 could scale icons the same way WB does?
I have a scale factor set to 70% in my WB, they look way too big in dopus5...

Maybe it's just me but I see the biggest potential to use dopus5 as sa WB replacement. It's too powerful to use it only as a file manager. I hope dopus team could modify and enhace it enough since WB is getting older...

Guys, be realistic. 5k? The community is too small. 6700 for TW many years ago, 3000 for JIT. We didn't even reach 5600$ expected to open source Opus Magellan....and there are supporters from all camps. I'm not saying Fab's work is worth less but simply, I can't see the money. There is also no guarantee the code (for OS4) will not be abandon , like MUI OWB.
Yes, I agree the whole situation does not look good. More up to date browser is more important than office suite IMO...

The only solution is some kind of miracle will happen and a talented programmer and AOS4 geek will show his interest.
