Re: Amigaterie French event, by Huno

@Elwood

Huno also mentionned and showed that his wrapper integrates sound and input so that future developpers can use the wrapper as a whole and not only for graphic rendering (well at least thats my understanding so please correct me if I am wrong !)...

Thanks Huno and Evo4 team for the top notch organisation of the event and the show ! It was great to see the new FBA with integrated SNES and some new features, the wrapper which could run all the objects provided in the OpenGLES archive, the alpha version of the new game from Entwickler-X (thx for sharing guys !) and the comparison between MiniGL and NOVA (3-4 more fps with the latest).

Great fun, cant wait for the next one !

happens to me as well ! it looks like it appears if you have an existing AOS4.1 upd6 on your HD ! the emulation.library is meant for AOS4.1 upd6 where the picasso96 folder resides in libs: with the emulation.library in it !

ok thanks ! I was lookign for something simpler because search/replace is really to much time consuming (I have several groups and more than 100 people in the addressbook).

I thought you were the current maintainer of simplemail, seems like it is not !

well typing "rx myprg" requires no special abilities !

I tried Arexxxml from Joakim Nordström which contains some examples scripts (not for simplemail though) but sadly I am unable to find how this works !

Thx Gazelle for your answer but as you might guess, I am just a user with no programming skill so the solution you provide is a no-go for the average Joe user.

what about my other question regarding multiple emails adress for a single contact ?

another annoying thing is that when you sort the mails, the focus is lost (for instance if a mail fron Seb Bauer is selected and I click on FROM, all mails are listed but the selection is gone, but my idea with to see all mails from Seb Bauer).

Simplemail : export address book
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

Hi All,
Simplemail is my mailer since a long time and I do all my mailings with it !
There is one thing that I can not do at the moment : exporting the address book to a csv or text file so that I could print the phone number and have it at end when the Amiga is off.

I looked at the guide and arexx interface, tried to open the file newaddressbook.xml and so far I am unable to extract the data from this file to a ready to print file.
Can someone suggest a solution ?

Another thing I was wondering : when a contact person has 2 emails address and both are written in the address book, why only the top one is used when I write a email to this contact ? How can I send a mail to both emails of the same contact ?

I look forward for the next release, probably at the end of year as it has happened in the past

sorry to hijack this thread but I sent you a PM mid-june about an issue between ADRipper and GoogleDrive and never got any answer.

I can send it again...

I use SW-SyncTool and I am pretty happy with it !
it is OS3 and windows but the OS3 version works on AOS4.1FE and older.

@Huno : thx for this great event, it was awesome to see the updated version of FBA, Darkplace with HD textures, a demo of X-Dock, a SNES emulator with a reaction GUI (awesome job by K-L, Mumu and Elwood to bring the snapshots and game boxes to the GUI), a demo of Warp3D Nova (I know now how to make the difference between shader and shaderless object).
Thanks to the French amiga team AmiOuest for releasing an updated version of FTPd (already uploaded to OS4depot BTW !).

See you all next year !

@Capehill

thx for taking the time to answer

are you saying that with the current state of the port, I could play against another AmigaOne user over a LAN ?

thats how I understand "Without fix, you would be only able to play with big-endian players"

Re: Zod Engine port

I had a go at it and I could beat the first (original) map vs one bot but got beaten in the 2nd !
Anyway, the port is functionnal but the aim of zod is to play online vs other players and there is no solo campaign as in the original game.

Is there any chance that you implement the net code and improve a little the performances ? I can play in window in 800x600 (80% CPU) but on a 1920x1080 WB screen, well, it is quite small.

Thanks a lot.
