As per my other thread... I just finished installing AOS4Final... In fact the version I installed was Update 4... :oops now the KVM is working fine !

I just need to reinstall a few things (like Samba)

Hi ScottCabit,

I paid considerably less than that, but mine doesn't work. (So, I technically paid more.)

I bought one from somewhere else, but it had only 18 memory ICs on it instead of 36, even though I told the person who sorced it I _needed_ 36 ICs on there. It's easier to make the 18s nowadays, if anyone bothers to want to make such a relic.

I was offered the 36 IC one about a year and a half ago from the same company, but didn't have the money to buy it then. At that time they MAY have had an actual 36 IC sdram to sell me.

I contacted them on Tues. or Wed. (2, 3 days ago) and they said they'd check to see if they could dig up a 36 IC module.

Hi GregS,

We got big problems with the CPU that's coming next.... I mean, is it 64bit/multicore G5s or Cell with more than 7 SPEs and higher than 3.4 GHz?

These technology companies never seem to know where they're going. I mean, are there, or AREN'T there going to be motherboards with Cell CPUs on them released???

DOES G4/G5 compiled code work on a Cell? IF you've written assembly programs, is the Cell 100% compatible with ALL the G5 assembly commands? ALL G4 assembly commands?

And again are they EVER going to release mortherboards with Cell CPUs on them?

You forgot to ask what sort of machine people have - eg I have an XE 7455 with a Radeon 9250 card + 512 MB.
