Re: fresh version of GDB for test

@kas1e

This is great work, hope your interest doesn't deminish!

I remember I used to compile alot of mud codebases with -ggdb because circlemud always crashed at some point, of course I could never get gdb to do anything useful but I felt like I was trying ;)

We narrowed it down to possibly an incompatiable wait() but it was never explored fully to actually determine this exactly... anyway, that is way off topic...

Perhaps when I actually need to use this tool it'll be even more ironed out and for that I'm grateful!

cheers!

@Varthall

Take the ball and run with it. I find it is much easier on the nerves to have complete control over a project and since you have the exact expertise to do what is necessary I think too much collaboration will only hinder any progess.

IMHO ;)

And thanks for taking it on! and yes, many thanks to afxgroup for the road that lies behind us.

@afxgroup

Just stick it together with /* */ or // compile it and send it to me. It only needs to download a few files LOL

but I hear you, might be easier for me to try and find another way to obtain these archives

I'd settle for a AmigaOS3.x that runs under AmigaOS4.x

Even a command line version would be fine!

Can someone please supply me a copy of this?

afxgroup perhaps with the last version worked on?

provide a download link or I'll PM you my email if desired.

Thanks very much!

@328gts

Lame would probably do it if you're looking for a command line solution.

eg

list quick > ram:files.txt
cygnused files.txt
create macro
hit F1 a hundred times
save file and quit
execute files.txt

otherwise perhaps AE should have a feature added to import 8bit

Yes

I brought the 667 as soon as it was humanly possible and then same for the 800 Flex - the 733 was an unforeseeable purchase from a fellow countryman based solely on the fact that he was selling a complete system WAY too cheaply, I did the most decent thing I could, obtained it

@MickJT

Very true, pardon my absurb attempt at making a joke

But seriously yes the end choice is yours, for any potential short comings perceived by yours truely there is always a way around it e.g. always generally 2 ways to accomplish anything...

I've never really understood people (the mentality) wanting there usb stick to be readable in every usb port ever designed under every conceivable OS or some piece of software to be forever executable... I think people need to realise that evolution is just that, not that this is your concern, just a related one
