@ktadd
I wrote my post too fast.
Yes I disabled the option and of course it uses CON (and for me KCON).
I test a little with a DVD and it works.
I continue my tests with a big file.
Thanks again

You have a funny definition of "Soon". For you this is tomorrow !!!
Great. I will test it.
I am using Kcon: but renamed it to CON:
So ffmpegui does not see that I use it because the KCON assign.
Must I rename CON to KCON and change all the calls to shell (in shell.info) ?
Nice job for your both.

Thanks for your answer.
I didn't use to ask this question because I know it is useless but I NEED to ask.
Soon ? Is it more when it is done or 3 weeks or something like this ? :)
I prefer asking you because I no we know that a lot of users want to know and shout "We Want A new FFmpeg !!!"
May be a new slogan ?
Let's see.
Bye, Jesus

@ktadd
I tested your idea and it is fantastic. That works.
Here are my results.
I tested 4 files created with ffmpeggui. I used a mpeg4 "foreign" encoded file.
I encoded 4 files of 20 s.
1 - mpeg4 file without changing the original fourcc 2 - same file with vtag = DIVX 3 --------------------- = XDIV 4 --------------------- = XVID
All but xdiv are played with mplayer. With wdiv only audio is played.
On my DV player, only DIVX and XVID are played.
Now I could encode with mpeg4 which is better than msmpegv1.
Another question, do you have news about a new version of ffmepg with aac decoder ?
Thanks again.

Just a question about mpeg4.
On my dvplayer, I can read avi (mpeg4) but if I make a movie in mpeg4 format, the movie can't be seen (except on my A1).
I must use msmpegv1 to encode.
So, there are some differences with os4 mpeg4 and other oses mpeg4. May be bytes order, litle endian ?
What do you think of that ?

@Slayer As Antique said, the message which tells that it can't be tied to port 2703 is not important. It just tells you that the port number will be other that 2703. In ctorrent, the ports used are 2700-2800 or something like that. So I can suggest you to forward your ports so the speed will be greater. To do that, go into the prefs of your router and go to forwarding ports. If you don't know, search in your router docs or in internet (for example look in http://www.portforward.com/) Generally, the speed I have is between 2 and 400 K/s. It depends on the number of seeders, leechers, your speed connection, the port fowarding... Never know... PS: Yesterday, I didn't drink beers but some glasses of punch...

@Slayer
If you never used torrent, it is a VERY good idea to use ctorrent because it comes with a gui and as someone told you, you have just to choose to select your torrent file.
I just wanted to warn you about something. When you find a torrent on a site, take careful to that : Is the site a public or private tracker ?
If public, nothing to do more that you already do.
In the other case, you must registrate on the site to have a login and a password. You must be connected to the site before loading the torrent from that site. So the site recognised you and authorized you to retrieve your files.
Note that you have a router, you can warm reset and relaunch the ctorrent gui without connecting before to the site because your router is still connected !!!
Hope you understand all what I was trying to explain. :)

Yes for me, OWB crashed very often until I replaced le libxml by the previous update.
Note That it seems that these two versions are the same except may be the options of the compilation.
But OWb works now.
Test it.

Good job.
I agree, the pause button is too big.
Personally, I prefer sliders AND string gadget. It depends on my humour.
Also, you should put the arrows together. I don't like to move my pointer from one to an another arrow when I choose the values.
Again, good job.

@Lemen
Well with a 512 Mo stick, I have the same problem.
The solution I choose is to copy groups by groups and not in one only loop.
Second, I notice but don't know if it is always true but now I will copy from hd to USB after the OS4.1 is loaded.
I DO NOTHING BEFORE AND WHILE I COPY.
In fact, when I play with windows or others programs, it seems that USB (or OS4.1) does not like it and freezes my system.
That's only I can tell you.

Sorry. You seemm you don't understand what I mean. I was talking about selecting files in ONE torrent.
For example, imagine you want to download a free amp3 album but you only want the first and the third songs.
In Shell mode, you can do that with the option -n.
-n 1,3-5 : download file 1 and 3 to 5.
-n 2,5 : ------------- 2 and 5.
Voil?, That's why I asked for.

I like it. Good job.
I would like to see a screen of the prefs tab. Two things that I would want : Could you change the download and upload spped after ctorrent has begun ? Could you choose the files to be downloaded ?
Keep going.

I am sorry but I don't have any idea to help you. The only difference with me is that I have an A1XE G4.
If you can, test with an another router even if yours works under OS4.0.
I hope you will find something.
