@all

Is there a way to tell Snoopy to immediately write to a file, instead of using the PD menu?

@kas1e

There *is* indeed still a problem inside ScummVM, which I haven't had the chance to test thoroughly yet.

I will do so once I get back home.

I'll also try to give feedback on all your pointers, then.

There is a slim chance that the 2.40 based binary, instead of crashing immediately, simply exited and in turn caused the crash mentioned above, but either way, it shouldn't crash or exit in the first place.

Please bear with me while I don't have access to my gear.

And thank you all for taking the time

I need to recompile *all* used dependancies???
Those are third party libraries, i didn't even know where to start...some of them are pretty old already

@all

If there are some configure gurus out there, please help.
I can't figure out why this piece of configure script fails to find zlib

Quote:

All of the pkg-config lines that are found in the script work fine using them in a shell...
It also doesn't matter if i skip pkg-config and directly point to zlib with envvars

Help, please?

So, i tested a full ScummVM build with binutils 2.40 and while it compiles fines it somehow breaks at linker stage:

Though it will always stop when the boot source is not found (would be nice if it would try the following sources instead)

Hehe, too excited to read on

@Maijestro

Eventually, yes...
Someone needs to write the shaders first, though.

If you take a look in extras/shaders/ you can maybe grab a glimpse of how much work might be involved.

At least the problem is known to the devs...if and when, I cannot say...don't hold your breath just yet
