@joerg

Hi Joerg, OWB is shaping up very nice. Can you add drop down history on the address line for your next version for recently visited websites? (This could be saved to a text file and re-loaded automatically when you start OWB so the history si preserved)

The progress bar and number of network connections (I think OWB is limited to one?) could also be nice features, and bookmarks as in the older version.

Thanks again.

@BillE

Does this software actually display any images or allow you to click around the universe like Starry Night? Does it support MiniGL for 3D graphics, etc?

Or is it just text based... ? I checked our your GUI screenshots but did not see any pictures, just text.

@Snuffy

AFA_OS is only for OS 3.x 68K as far as I know...

You don't need it in OS4 as OS4 already has the features that AFA_OS is giving...

@klesterjr

Is there any FAQ on how to get the skinning working? it's not working for my system.

I am previously using visual prefs and birdie, I commented them out of s-s and tried to load a skin in afa prefs but it didn't work, the windows looked all messed up.

@xeron

I already asked b-plan (x-phase5). They can't do it

1) Can't get 10 year old components
2) Not ROHS compliant, so cannot sell in EU.

So, basically zero chance of another production run of cyberstorm/blizzard PPC.

A new accelerator would have to be developed.

Hey, wouldn't this be a great time for ACK to release his PowerVixxen's ?

(ok I will go back to sleep now :)

Re: OS3.1 disk set for A4000T

@TrevorDick

Hi TrevorDick, the only legal way I can point you is to:

1) The person you purchased your A4000T from
2) The dealer you purchased your A4000T from
3) Amiga Inc.

I have a copy of the disks because I purchased an A4000T new from a dealer. Any A4000T sold new came with the proper disks. I don't know how or who you acquired the A4000T from...The disks must have got lost somewhere along the way...

But legally I am not allowed to give them to you.

Sorry.

Re: OS4 Final Stability and Network problems

@BobW

Hi Bob, I am an OS4 beta tester and I had found this exact situation and reported it as a bug prior to OS4 final release.

Unfortunately Hyperion was unable to verify the bug. It appears ONLY to affect the MicroA1 and possibly only GX processors (which cpu do you have in the Micro?) but that is unconfirmed.

I have also verified that switching to static IP addressing does in fact resolve the issue. I did this independently and before I read this thread.

I have updated the bug and reported this new information to the OS4 dev. team, so hopefully it can be resolved in a future OS4 update.

Thanks,
Darren
