@Chris
Actually I might have a basic installation on my A1200.
Will try to copy that one over. I would have to launch a workbench3.0 from E-UAE and then launch the game, right?

@nbache No, I didn't... Everything is fine with Uboot now. I have a three seconds chance to enter the menu if I want. Then it goes to a screen, where I can choose OS4. It counts down from 20 and then boots. I can just press enter and it boots right away. Before the final update I could also choose OS4 - debug and one or two others. Now, I only have OS4, so it should be possible to bypass this selection. I will post the thing you asked for tomorrow. I have a day off, so there will be plenty of time for the Amiga!

@thomas Succes!!! Thanks, Thomas! Now, I have 20 seconds delay before OS4 boot unless I press enter. Can I lower that as well?

@Chris Thanks mate. I might need a few more pointers. Because, how would I go around doing that? Just a plain E-UAE start? I would like to run a hd installed version of the game...

Playing Colonization WHDload using E-UAE and I've got it running very nicely.
One problem, though! I can't save!
Try to make a savefile and it gives this error:
Dos-Error #103 (not enough memory available) on writing file "exe/colony00.sav"
Is there anyway around this problem on OS4?

This is really amazing. When I got all the fonts working probably this update impressed me alot! It looks better and it feels faster. Joerg, I can't salute enough. I can make a donation, however, and I'll do this tomorrow!

@Swoop I don't think it's a workbench issue. The Uboot comes up a few seconds after I turn on the machine. It's not when Workbench is up and running. I am talking about the Uboot prefs that look like ms-dos...

I am really using my AmigaONE a lot at the moment. Been away for a while, but now I am back... Unplugged the mac and all... Something strange, though. Ever since the final update my AmigaOne goes directly to the uboot prefs (Not in Workbench) when I turn it on. Then I have to exit and only then does it starts to load OS4. Why? And how do I stop it?

@all Playing with UAE and Liveforit's great program... How do I get it to let me pick the resolution? I guess this is where it needs editing: #gfx_width=600 #gfx_height=400 #gfx_width_windowed=600 #gfx_height_windowed=400 #gfx_width_fullscreen=600 #gfx_height_fullscreen=400 show_leds=false #gfx_lores=true #gfx_linemode=none #gfx_fullscreen_amiga=true #gfx_fullscreen_picasso=true #gfx_vsync=true gfx_center_horizontal=smart gfx_center_vertical=smart # public, custom, ask amiga.screen_type=ask amiga.publicscreen=UAELOWRES I have a 400*300 waiting...

@All And I got it working!!! Very nice progress! Haven't seen it in action since the first version, so - wow! By the way, in the output window it says: Using OWB memory allocaor 1.5 This is the right version, right? The OWB file is 1.9 so I was just wondering if I missed something. Posted from OWB...

@LiveForIt Oh, no need to help me! got it working myself! It runs very nicely! @all I am running a 800g3 and 256mb ram. What configuration would get me the most speed out of LiveForIt's nice program? Colonization sure takes it's time thinking it's next move. It looks like this at the moment: kickstart_rom_file=UAE:kickstarts/kick31.rom amiga.floppy_path="" #joyport0=mouse joyport0=joy2 #joyport0=kbd1 joyport1=joy1 cpu_type=68020 chipset=AGA cpu_speed=real cpu_compatible=yes cpu_24bit_addressing=yes collision_level=sprites #collision_level=playfields #immediate_blits=true # 512 kB 'chip' & 512 kB 'slow' chipmem_size=4 fastmem_size = 8 z3mem_size=32 #bogomem_size=2 # 0 = on, -1 = off floppy0type=0 floppy1type=-1 floppy2type=-1 floppy3type=-1 floppy_speed=200 #gfx_width=600 #gfx_height=400 #gfx_width_windowed=600 #gfx_height_windowed=400 #gfx_width_fullscreen=600 #gfx_height_fullscreen=400 show_leds=false #gfx_lores=true #gfx_linemode=none #gfx_fullscreen_amiga=true #gfx_fullscreen_picasso=true #gfx_vsync=true gfx_center_horizontal=smart gfx_center_vertical=smart # public, custom, ask amiga.screen_type=ask amiga.publicscreen=UAELOWRES #sound_output=normal #sound_bits=16 #sound_frequency=11025 #sound_channels=stereo #sound_max_buff=8192 sound_output=normal sound_bits=16 sound_frequency=44100 sound_channels=stereo sound_max_buff=32768 use_debugger=no use_gui=no

@LiveForIt Hi! Your program's looking nice and I ALMOST has it working! But when I start up Colonization it loads for a while, ends up in dos, giving this message: EXECUTE: Can't open ":T/Command-0-T1" object already exists execute failed returncode 10 What now?

@Swoop Well, that got me a bit further! Now the program's installed but when I launch it says: "ELF Library" "Required Object is missing" When I click OK it then says: Can't open "OWB" What's up... FC-cache is in place and executed. Random is mounted... the curl-ca... is put in Workbench:s So, whats's up, guys?

Finally got around downloading this... on the strohmeyer-site...
However, I can't unpack the file! Tried to download a program (7zDec) on OS4 depot to do it, but it says "can't open input file"
What to do?
Oh, and why doesn't my Amiupdate recognise Owb?

Remember an interview with him in Total Amiga (miss that!!!) that impressed me a lot. Hopefully, he'll do some good at Amiga!

Sorry guys! I forgot to tell you that I've solved the problem.
I had a back-up Radeon_old in devs as well as the new Radeon file and that caused the problem!
All is well and fine now. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for your help - but sadly... it didn't work... I'm still stuck on 1024x768@60...
I did do a clean install and I checked the system. There doesn't seem to be any p96 settings anywhere...
