SAM 440 EP weirdness (USB related) - SOLVED

Hey guys, I have a SAM 440 EP, however, no matter what I do, I cannot get an external USB HD top show on WB. When I plug it in, you get a Mulitclass requester pop up - but then nothing shows up.
I have also tried an ATAPI/SATA to USB bridge device, which is also mains powered, but no matter what, I cannot get it to pop up on the USB!
Any ideas?

Hi Folks
As some of you may be aware, I have an old SAM 440EP which has blown soundchips. So I installed an old Soundblaster Love 128 card on the only slot.
Generally this works well playing video's some games etc. However I find that on IOQuake 3 and Quake 3 executables, the sound stutters/echos/overlays when running the game.
AHI settings appear correct, would appreciate any help to get the sound issue resolved.
Many thanks

Does anyone know if you can get a higher resolution on a SAM 440 Ep (Radeon M9) than 1280x1024? I have a monitor that does 1600x1200 and so far I am stumped.

Finally Since, November 2013, I have been without an Amiga, the SAM 440 I got had no working Sound. ACube were no help, but I managed to get a soundblaster live card, new case, 400W PSU, Its been up and running for the last 20 minutes, so far so good. I am currently Playing Star Trek First Contact on it, full video and sound via MPlayer. All being well, I will close her up, and post from the SAM 440 EP later on.

Or, Maybe if this one goes down, that one can fill the gap until this one is fixed? Worked like that before.

Hi Guys and Gals.
The Sound/hardware on my SAM 440 EP motherboard is faulty, so I have purchased a Soundblaster Audio card (dual 3.3v & 5v) which is OS4.x compatible.
Anyhow, I need to find a decent new case as the existing one has no PCI output slots. (Slimline type case)
So, can anyone here recommend a stylish case for a SAM 440EP with PCI rear slot that isn't Cube shaped?
Preferbly under £50 ukp.
Cheers!!!

@AmigaBruno Quote: It sounds great! I'm sorry I wasn't there. Of course it was mainly Amiga stuff, but why was it unwanted? I had an email from a former user north of Peterborough (He had contacted LINCS but they never replied) Anyhow he had put a lot of old amiga stuff in storage and he wanted it to go to a good home, amongst the 9 boxes were (some junk) but in addition, a CDTV with remote, quite a few games, boxed, lots of PD Software (quite a bit of fred fish) an A2000 286 board and something else for the A2000 - I forget. We kept the stuff we were interested in and chucked the rest away.

Okay I guess the only way to set the time is via OS4 - fine, done that. Seems to be fine
Can anyone tell me how I can get sound to work?
Cheers

Hi all
I had to replace the CMOS battery on my SAM440 EP, however, I now cannot access the BIOS Menu the USB Keyboard (Tried 2 others) just doesn't activate during the pre-boot (uboot) sequence. I have to wait until it boots into OS4.1 U6+ before it starts working.
In addition, I don't seem to have any sound either. Any ideas please??
Many thanks

@ddni
We would consider another Amiga Revival show, but given the Apathy by the UK Amiga community at large, is there any point?
