Thank you guys for this info. I managed to make an SMC SMC2206USB/ETH to work just fine.
I had the same problem with MAC address not recognised. I also had to add the following at the interface file unit=0 configure=dhcp
Thanks again for that info

Sil 3114 on microAmigaOne doesn't boot

I got a Sil 3114 SATA card for my microAmigaOne from Vesalia. I installed it at the micro but the disk, which has installed the AmigaOS 4.1FE, doesn't boot, and the U-BOOT replies that it can't find the SLB. This problem occurs also with a bootable cd rom of AmigaOS.
From the preferences of uboot I choosed to boot from SIL serial disk and parallel disk, but no luck at all.
The card seems to be recognized by uboot, as I see it when I ask the pci list.
Did anyone managed to make it work on his system? Is the SIL 3114 bootable or should I find a 3112?
Thank you in advance for your help.

@orgin
While you do the installation, are connected to internet? Also, does the debug log say something about why it failed? When you say that the window with the script is closed, you mean the window of PlayOnLinux? If yes, is there a possibility that POL crashes?

@K-L Can you please share your system specs? Unfortunately, the PPC emulation by winuae is still slow, and it needs a really powerful computer to be usable. Also, most of the crashes, as I understand it, most of the times come from the network emulation. Try to use AmigaOS 4.1 FE Classic without using internet connection. If you can, close it totally, and check how stable it is.
I know exactly what you mean about the speed of X1000, but it is totally wrong to compare X1000 with an emulation. At least this is my opinion.

@mritter0 Nice work with the WBEx. I would like to add on the matter ChrisH mentioned. Whenever I start WBEx, Dropbox and Google Drive is mounted, although I didn't start them. Maybe it has to do with the mountlists.
One thing that I would like to request is to make addition of more info beside each file, to be filled asynchronously. For example, a folder with 30 wallpapers was listed slow because there was the list that shows the dimension of the file. As soon as I removed it, the listing showed really fast.
Also, it is wierd that the dimension of the file is not visible at the status bar, as I believe it would be more logical to exist.
Thank you for the great work you do... Keep it up...

@salass00 The sound recording is something that you develop or there will be no chance to have such a feature?
I am pretty sure that if this is implemented then more people will be able to create videos and spread the word of AmigaOS to the world.

Is there anyone out there who got involved in creating a utility that converts a RTF file from wordworth or FInalWriter to anything else? I am looking to find a way to convert the Greek RTF documents in a unicode format, that Google Docs can read just fine, in cases I want to exchange them with others.

I just find a solution which I tested and worked just fine. I am writing here how this issue can be solved. Basically, the solution I found is at the package WordWorthEuro.lha at aminet ( http://aminet.net/text/dtp/WordWorthEuro.lha). I copy paste here the part that solves the above. Quote: How to use a different font engine with WordWorth 7.01 ------------------------------------------------------ It is WWTools/InstallOutlines that normally restricts the usable font engines to those that come with WordWorth, but it can be worked around.
WWTools/InstallOutlines scans the path in ENV:WordWorth/WwFonts for the subdirectories Intellifont, Postscript and Truetype. In the subdirs it scans the fonts and creates .font and .otag files in the UFST subdir. The .otag files contain the name of the font engine, either digitaintellifont, digitapostscript or digitatruetype.
If you replace the .font and .otag file for a font in UFST with versions created by TTFManager for ttf.library, by T1Manager for type1.library by Intellifont for bullet.library etc. WordWorth will use e.g. ttf.library instead of digitatruetype.library for this font :)

As you all know, Wordworth is a great document editor. I have the 7th version installed under AmigaOS 4, but I have serious problems on writing Greek on that. Although I use TTF that I am sure they support Greek, when I change keymap, the characters that are written are not Greek. In case I use fonts that are only Greek, like topazgr, then texts are written just fine, but unfortunately this is not so usefull.
Does anyone use it succesfully for other languages except English? Is there a trick to make it work?
Thank you all for your kind help.

@voodoo AmIRC supports connection to multiple servers as well. There a button called "Connect Thread" at the select server window. First connect to a server, then open the server window from the list, select the second server and click on the "Connect Thread" button.

@kas1e
Really great work. I tried the latest beta and I saw that if you have two pdfs open in tabs and you close the second tab, then the program totally closes, although it should leave the first tab open.

How much necessary is for you all a CrossCompiler environment for C/C++ ? Do you use them? Are you happy with them? Would you like something more advanced? Which OS would you like it to support?

@ChrisH First of all I would like to thank you again for using my app and giving feedback.
> The provided DefIcons still don't work out of the box, because they they still have "Start from" set to "Workbench".
I also have them on my system set to "Workbench" and they ork just fine. What is the problem with your installation? The comic isn't loaded?
I will check the crash you had. Is it reproducable?

In the OS3Depot's upload page is the new version of Comicami v0.54-free. The new features of v0.54-free: - Added an icon when iconified - Fixed a bug when Comicami moved to an other screen, if the user closed it in that screen, the screen didn't close. - Now it works in older versions of AmigaOS 4.1 than Final Edition - If the tooltype 'AUTODELETE' is set, Comicami deletes the previous opened comic temporary folder, to save hard disk space. A guide on how to setup the default icons can be found at the following URL https://bitbucket.org/walkero/comicami/wiki/Setup%20default%20icons
