Sorry to bump this thread, but I'd like to know if OWB is using AmiSSL for its SSL transactions or if it's using a builtin SSL version ?

I ask it because I have found that OWB is unable to login into any https url I've come to, whereas AWeb is fine accesing them (so AmiSSL works fine), in fact I even searched on google an HTTPS test page and tried to load it in OWB without success (so this should not be a problem specific to my bank's website which is bytheway Cr?dit Mutuel at https://www.creditmutuel.fr/cmlaco/fr/) the page starts to load and then nothing comes, the text load jauge at the bottom right stays on 0 ?

except for 2 also incomplete directories the dir command from shell doesnt show any other, only the icon files for the missing ones. i can also enter these present dirs via workbench. i had not realised it before.

However if you select a state and proceed to the next screen, you get the cookie requester I mentioned in my earlier post. You can select a state in the page at the URL I listed, proceed to the next page and try entering a userID (any text) and you will see the Cookies disabled requester.

I need the ARexx commands to use if OWB is already open.

As far as downloading goes, I would like to suggest something like popupmenu.library with a menu that has items for D/L files, images and copying URLs like IBrowse.

sorry to say, even partition magic under os4 with sfs partition as a target had the same effect. some 1.3 gig data are being recovered, of which only that in the root directory are accessible. various attempts of using protect command to unlock the directories didnt succeed.
