Thanks Niels, I did forget that TW is NOT a Hyperion project.

Before we begin, I am sure that work on 4.2, Warp3D, Gallium 3D and SMP etc continues as before.
Please tell if I am wrong?

If I am not wrong, then it seems to have gone awfully quiet on the progress of these.
Any thoughts on why?

£16m plus upto £2m linked to performance.
I suppose that time will tell if this acquisition affects the relationship with A-Eon.
Perhaps there will be an A-Eon statement?

That is good to read. My post simply states how it seemed. In fact I have had confirmation from the Friedens that work continues! Happy days and thanks to those involved.

The initial excitement around tw has passed. The development seems to have halted.

Where are we?
What is happening?
What has been promised?
How far from another release?

This is a useful discussion, one which I am sure will help reduce inappropriate uploading.
Is there a check question during the upload process to ask if the authors permission has been sought and gained?

Ban seems a bit too harsh a treatment for someone who is simply trying to keep os4 depot up to date.

Surely a better solution is to engage the uploader in conversation about what is and isn't acceptable.

Why? The stock set up is fine.
Disturbing functioning stock fittings on a SMD $1000 CPU is utter madness!

Rarely do I tell someone what to do, but on this occasion, "Leave it alone. If it ain't broke don't try to fix it!"

The stock fan can be unscrewed from the heatsink and the new fan screwed on. No need to remove the heatsink at all.

Best to install the Fan controller that came with your X1000 and adjust the stock fan speed first. You may decide that you don't need a new fan.

Use the cputemp docky to monitor things.

You are probably right. However I see that Stefan did work out the QuakeII ports for Hyperion.
