I understand that not everyone has enough money to buy 3D support libraries and nothing is simple and given in life unfortunately
For my part my library EGL_wrap and donationware (you don't have to give me something and you can use it without limit)
The game DOOM3 and free also only NOVA and opengles2.0 are paying

For the registration it is only just to better manage the demand for this game and for the betatest too

Official release date of Doom3 for AmigaOS4.

Hello,

Doom3 for AmigaOS4 will be released on July 9, 2022 in the morning.
This version will be released in betatest while we correct any malfunctions on different machines.

Minimal requirements DOOM3:
Software: AmigaOS4.1, EGL_Wrap library, Opengles 2.0 and Warp3D NOVA
hardware: GFX card RADEON PCI-Express, sound card, 2 GO RAM, HD or SSD,

IMPORTANT: Only registered users will be able to benefit from the executable.
The executable will contain your personal information, in no case should you distribute it at the risk of losing your updates.

In advance of phase to be able to use this version soon you will have to contact me via email so that I can send you your executable.
All this is to know the exact number of users for this kind of game (a priori long awaited) and also target the types of users.

Full support for my library will be maintained as well as the doom3 engine (DHEWM3).
In no case will I be responsible for a malfunction related to the use of Warp3D NOVA and opengles2 or others, you will have to contact their distributors.

Only the first version of doom3 because the second version uses a more modern rendering engine and it seems to me that doom1 and doom2 work in the distribution, the shaders are different and the objects too, on the other hand the rendering is even prettier

Yes indeed you read my mind. Yes, some games already released will see a makeover (if the fx shaders exist for this version of course).
Suddenly my library will be well fixed and fully usable (I am currently adding functions every day for the needs of doom3) and even you can have fun making ports.

For those who want to have an overview of the lib (quite recent but not complete) you will see the additional functions in the examples and especially its execution speed with the shaders internally.
Of course you will need to have the latest libraries in development to use it currently.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for all this beautiful support, it goes straight to my heart.

I took over the project after taking a short break to reflect on what unfortunately happened.

I'm coming back with a version with functional shaders and I'll admit that it's funny to see this on our machines (I'm not used to it yet).

For now I'm testing the shaders gradually and correcting my EGL_wrap code to adapt to DOOM3.

This game will not be released right away because I want it to be released with the minimum of problems so as not to affect its quality.

I give you the link of the video and 2 screenshots from last night to show you this beautiful rendering which can only be better in the future.

I'm not going to hide from you that it took a toll on my motivation (who knows… maybe that was why and it succeeded).
I'm working on my library currently and 2 other projects that may be related.
Currently the opengl 1.x rendering is 95% functional and I only have to implement the gamma which is not supported correctly natively but I am integrating this into eglwrap_library for other projects in the future or even for a third-party AmigaOS4 developer

When I resume my tests soon I will put other videos by personalizing them a little

Thank you for your interest in my work and thank you also for your support.

As for crosscompiling, I actually don't do it (thanks Alex).
On the other hand, I only use gcc 4.2 and not the latest versions of gcc (I still have an old sdk that is more functional than all the new ones), since this project is dated, I don't waste time and continue to use my old tools.
Then why the videos have disappeared, well I was directly attacked by designating myself as a thief of the source codes on the blue side (which is completely false of course), that's why I put the code on GIT to stop these unfounded false rumors then I disabled the videos to avoid useless and unfounded posts, I don't need that anymore.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to compile it with what you have on my repository because you need the new SDK of my EGLwrap.library, some functions are required for the game.

There you go, hope I answered all your questions.

Good morning all,

Yes indeed I took over the code and as an appetizer I took over my doom3 project started in 2018 (and yes already).
For information, the game is currently running via the EGL_wrap library in OpenGL 1x rendering via gl4es/ogles2
This engine is specially designed for my library and uses sdl1 and openal for sound
As for the videos I posted, these are simply the progress of my code because at no time can I say that it is the third-party libraries that are in error before having checked all my work.
Don't worry about bug reports from gl4es, nova or ogles2, I'll do them in due time because I don't want to incriminate renderings before having a big debug.

As for the fps (sorry I'm still laughing about it) how do you want to have a bench when behind the debug spits maximum data on my pc.
And I will also tell you that before wanting to have performance results it would be better for the engine to be reliable to avoid any LAG during the course of the game.

But don't worry I will often post videos of the evolution with some comments

For information the functions that I have to add/fix are:
Light effects
Full screen mode (not yet implemented)
Textures with smoothing
Character menus
Fonts in ttf instead of graphics
Video sequences with smoothing
Image loader functions of EGL_wrap jpeg png bmp
Joystick holder
Altivec for machines equipped

Then 2 versions will be released:
without native shaders
With native shaders

Hello,
For information the EGL rendering natively uses opengles and not gl4es
Only SDLEGL and GLUES combined with EGL use GL4es
Yes it is in beta but I can add functions which are not yet supported for your work if you wish
PS: Gl4es is initialized at each start of EGL_ wrapper but not used in native EGL
