Very well done.

Like xenic, I didn't noticed speed improvment between vpdf and AmiPDF (Hyperion and AEon one) but to have outline is very cool !

@Alfkill
hi,
"it is not only a problem with your new build?"
no, it occured as soon as FE update 1 was installed with an old build.

I tried to rebuild (with libpng16 and latest libfontconfig to try to solve this problem).

Is it possible for you to rebuild libqt* with libpng16 and/or latest FE upd1 libfontconfig.so ?

thanks

Re: Qt beta

@alfkil

Hi,
with previous Qt (< 2016) or with the current one (today minimal from os4depot) and new FE update 1, we have problem to start SMtube.

It seems that the new libfontconfig.so (FE update1) is linked with libpng16 (or something like that).

Now, SMTube complains about

libpng warning: Application built with libpng-1.4.0 but running with 1.6.12

Even when I recompile SMTube with libpng16, it complains the same way.

Is Qt linked with libpng14 ? Is something that I can override in SMTube ?

When I revert to the FE update 0 libfontconfig.so, no problem.

Thx

"I will need to find the exact ENV: variable name.."

Variable name is MenuImageSize

SETENV SAVE MenuImageSize "16" for example

@nubechecorre

For VICE problem, could you try to setup it as a CLI or a WB startup in
X-Dock, please ?
For that,
1) unlock the dock (CTRL key or Unlock menu option)
2) RMB on the VICE icon
3) "Modify button"
4) change WB to CLI or CLI to WB

New binary sent to you to debug.

Thanks for your help
Guillaume

@nubechecorre

Hi,
"1) everytime I try to change the size of the icons in the XDock, the program crashes and gives me a GR"

It works for me.
Could you send me the crashlog and your ENVARC:A-EON/x-dock* files please ?

thanks
Guillaume

"Damnit... I know that crash, and I was sure, I had it fixed. Are you sure, that you are using the latest Qt??"

Still using the *old* Qt, I'm able to start at least 3 instances of SMTube without crash.

@Hans

Thank you for your explanation.

Regarding, internet resources, except your blog, it seems hard to find Warp3D tutos.
Are the internet OpenGL tutos compatible with OpenGL ES OS4 ?
For example, this french one ?

"and share the link on other places where AmigaOS developers (or aspiring developers) may see it?"
Done on french AmigaNG forum.

Hi,
from a total 3D programming newbie point of view, what is the easier, Warp3D Nova or OpenGL ?
Which of these 2 is the less verbose ?

Thank you

hi,
Even if I use SMtube around everyday, i didn't noticed graphical glitch (except in webkit font rendering that we still noticed you, it's why i automtically resize the window at opening)

So, I am a lazy bastard ;)

I'm ready and happy to beta test.
