@jabirulo the culprit is datetime.dockapp and saving the timeprefs does not change the behavior, the error message regarding the missing xml is still there after each reboot and each time I change the dockapp position in the X-Dock settings (button prefs) here is how the dock looks like : https://sd-1.archive-host.com/membres/ ... 68124662650/34297fig1.jpg

now I am getting this error message "warning cant load/read xml settings error: 0x00008000" each time I issue a reset... and as said before each time I move a dockapp in the X-Dock prefs.
very annoying... how do I get rid of that ?

I have a Thrustmaster dual analog 3.2 : - left/right up/down from the joystick are working - button 1 is mapped as up - button 2 is mapped as down - button 3 is mapped as left - button 4 is mapped as right - button 5 is mapped as ? (Inventory) - button 6 is mapped as ESC (menu) - button 11 is mapped as Jump - button 12 is mapped as Attack

ok thanks all I got it, but this was not obvious at first sight ! having used AmiDock for a decade where you just drop whatever in it and it just works made me think something was wrong with X-Dock.
I am not sure the X-5000 has built in audio at all... anyway I have an Envy24 soundcard but Mixer appdock does not seem to control the master volume (at least not when streaming radiostation in Tunenet).
One problem I have is when you move up or down an appdock, I always get this annoying "warning cant load/read xml settings (error: 0x00008000" message. How do I get rid of this ?
Another thing I would like to do is to the change the fonts (and color) of the datetime.app which is too big, making the dock really stretched and ugly compared to the other dockapp present in the dock. I did not see anything regarding changing fonts in the readme.

@kas1e
thanks for your detailed explanations (and hard work obviously).
I could also betatest the addition of joypad support.

I just installed x-dock from latest EhP v1.4 and I put all the 3 dockapp in it to see what they do and they dont do anything...and there is no readme telling me what they do besides their name : - clock.dockapp is an icon and I thought it would give the actual time. clicking or double clicking on it does not do anything... - datetime.dockapp is an icon and I thought it would give the actual date. clicking or double clicking on it does not do anything... - mixer.dockapp is an icon and according to the readme would open the master volume, which is not happening on clicking or double clicking...
another strange thing is after clicking several time, the CPU is at 100% and the icons in AmiDock are frozen.
anyone else having these behaviors ?

@K-L
ah ok did not know since there was no subject on the forums about that !
would be good to put that in the readme then, as well as the lack of joypad support...

Dear all,
I had time to test the newly released games for W3DNova by Kas1e and co (thanks you all to make this happen) and thought about sharing my feedback.
- Prototype works fine over 200fps and with joypad.
- Friking Shark is working good too BUT there is no joypad support, which is a shame for a schmup IMHO and I am also experiencing microfreezes, in fact each time I destroy a new type of enemy, and only the 1st time. Afterwards the game is smooth.
Anyone else having this kind of behavior ?

Welcome aboard !
got corruption too with NGFS (keep in mind it is still in beta, but it is the official FS for the X-5000, go figure !)
switched to SFS2 and got corruption too so now I donty know what FS to use.
sure you can backup but what FS to use for the backup HD/partition ? it is chicken and egg

@Denii : well I have bad experience with backup HDD : from one day to the other the backup partition was gone...
@Raziel : how to make odyssey points to another location ? I dont see anything in the prefs
This SSD is a 40Gb from Corsair, turn o/f 1400 times and worked for more than 300 hours and the SSD software on the pc says it is healthy at 97% so I am more suspecting SFS2 assocaited with X-5000 to generate corruption.
back to my question : is there a tool to repair ?

Hi all, I am getting corruption on a SSD partition on p5020sata.device which uses SFS2.
the error is : findextentbnode: findbnode() can't find key 3697896! error=0 *returned_bnode=6F665A9C (*returned_bnode) ->key=3697656
since I have valuable data in this partition, how do I fix this and why is it happening ? I never had this kind of error on my trusty AmigaOneXEG4 but I am regularly getting this error specially in Odyssey folder...

@xenic
the crash in the addressbook is a known issue and has a bug report. try to circulate over the mails with up/down arrows, you will notice it does not work with latest MUI versions (but works with MUI5.0-2016RC1 provided with the X5000 prerelease CD).
