FastCompress
Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

I like Fastcompress very much.

If you have a CLI mode in the pipeline (for scripts, launch from Filer? Dopus?) i would applaud to that .
Having some generated info available in some way (returned string env variable clipboard -for use with scripts too ) eg
info not otherwise available automatically:
- the (possibly modified) name of the archive
- if it was sent somewhere using e-mail
info that you could get in other ways in the script, but still maybe ..
- size of the directory before compression
- datestamp of the archive
- ...

Thank you and happy that this one works out of the box for you ;)

"If you have a CLI mode in the pipeline "
It is still callable from CLI and therefore can be called from DOpus (not tested with Filer).
In CLI mode, the GUI is opened as if it was from WB.

"Having some generated info available "
What do you mean ? All the infos that you ask are still displayed in the GUI.
You would like to have them in some global OS4 variables that you could grab with "GetEnv xxx", right ?

EDIT : I opened a thread for this kind of request / suggestion ;)

indeed would be nice.

I missed the CLI possibilities because
FastLha ?
just starts the GUI;

also noted :
Faslha ram: freezes

@JosDuchIt

Thank you for the bug report, I have fixed FastLHA, LZX, 7z and ZIP to correctly handle the compression of volume.
