I have an Overdrive 3.5" drive case that connects via the PCMCIA slot - I could try that but I need the CD-ROM to run the game (and yes, I have tried installing to disk and running from there but didn't work, probably for same reasons which I still don't know)
I suppose I could try and install the Overdrive with 3.0 but I need a drive, then try again to install the game to HDD and put the necessary assigns in place to run it off disk? I used to run with 3.1 ROMS and 3.0 OS.
I need some assistance on how to get around the 4GB partition limit - I take it I need to install something that is less than 4GB if I am only running 3.0 - in which case I need a 3.5" drive that is less than 4GB - so to summarise:
Has anyone got a drive that is less than 4GB which is either 2.5" or 3.5" in size I can have off them please?
I bet you it doesn't work and it turns out to be a cruddy library, although snoopdos doesn't give any clues!

1. This one is rather cosmetic: Content group on the left contains "Statement of Intent" and "The Terms Of Service". There shouln't be "The" in the last (if it should, then it also should appear in the 1-st, but imho it shouldn't) Mozilla wraps the line with "The", would look nicer with shorter and not-wrapped line or with a larger form width. 2. This one isn't a bug but a fine-tuning: The minimum time for editing post is too large imho (If there's a minor edit like typo I always get the come-back-after-30-seconds message. 15 seconds is more reasonable imho. It's becoming a great siite, keep up the good work Jack

@Rudei, I have a Squirel/CDRom which I used only once or twice (bought new about 3 or 4 years ago from anal.)... I think it could also be used to hookup an external HDD ? // Me wonder it I don't have also a 300MB HDD somewhere... Jerry

2.5 drives are quite expensive. Sounds like your having fun with that which is better than sitting in the box in my garage.

Yes it is. The drive was about 180 - 200 MB, so pretty useless. It currently has:
4GB 2.5" IDE 64MB RAM Blizzard 1230/50MHZ Quad Speed CD-ROM Amiga Q-Drive
and is connected to a TFT monitor.
I want to try a new HDD inside the machine to run OS3.0 exclusively, see if I can get this damn game working. Severely puzzled by it.

@JC The 2.5" sounds ok, although I always struggle with knowing what to do with the old 4GB partition limit? I don't want to hack this A1200 so I'm ruling out the 3.5" ones - how much do you want for the 2.5" drive? @Chris Is it a 2.5" drive and were you serious or was that a top trump joke only? How much? @thread Thanks for your feedback and offers - I'm after 2.5" drives only, I guess its better if they are in the Uk as shipping will be minimal (unless I get it from Elbox ) Rude!

Well just last night I managed to get TGE to render the 3D world by fixing some issues in MiniGL. But there are still some bugs to fix, as I get alignment exceptions.
There is still no audio. TGE uses OpenAL with EAX extensions, but the current Amiga OpenAL does ofcourse not have EAX extension, so currently I cannot compile with audio enabled.
In the engine some platform specific stuff is still missing, like font handling. TGE caches fonts, so for now I am just using the cached fonts created on a Windows machine.
Tonight I will post a photo of the "buggy" 3d world rendering.
