another graphics program i use occasionally, especially when needing to do any odd effects, is fxPAINT v2.0. it has portions accelerated for PPC hardware, so it is fairly nippy on my little SAM. here is a screenshot with a few windows to give an idea of the GUI under OS4.

during my amiga demos at work and elsewhere, i tend to demonstrate the terrific classic graphics programs available for amiga NG systems. my personal favorite is probably arteffect. here is a screenshot of it running on my SAM440ep-flex with a few windows open to give a flavor of the GUI. the picture was compressed (slightly) and converted to JPEG using imageFX.

| My current AmiDock with SMART sub-dockies

Seems that few people use sub-dockies, and even fewer use Smart sub-dockies. So this picture shows how I currently use them on my machine. (The backdrop was set to pale blue for screenshot sanity, and small download size!)
Smart sub-dockies should really be integrated into AmiDock, as they require much less maintenance (since they automatically position themselves) and also have a nice "glow" selected state. |

This shows Wordworth 7 running on AmigaOS4.1 (Update 2).
To get it to work on AmigaOS4, you need to add the PICASSO=TRUE tooltype, and some settings in Sys:Prefs/Screens. Those settings are described here. |
