Eddie has another article up on the AmiZed Studios Website! Here's a taste of what he has to say!

Quote:

I have been researching the viability of a completely new computing platform since May 2001. I could say that it is Amiga inspired but that would be misleading, for it would bring up ideas of a platform resurrection. It would be more accurate to think of it as an Amiga reincarnation. It’s a large scale project that requires $1M+ to start-off and has nothing to do with AmigaOS 4, Morphos (MOS), or AROS. If you’ve read some of my other Op-Eds you’ll know what I think of all of these.

Nevertheless, I felt that it would be a nice exercise to put down how I would have approached the situation were I asked for a plan or strategy, or if I were the primary angel investor in this chapter of the Amiga story. The year is 2009 and the mediation process has just been finalized with a somewhat favorable outcome for Hyperion, and in this version, Trevor Dickinson has not yet had any discussions with Ben Hermans.

Pretty hardcore PR should to say :) What about one news instead two about the same site ?

The fact that the item mentions:

...and has nothing to do with AmigaOS 4, Morphos (MOS), or AROS.

I don't see this as an appropriate news item on an Amiga forum at all.

Ho hum.

... However, it's nice to know that AmiZed has at least one fan.

well AmiZed has some nice Amiga related articles and some great web/pod casts (especially the one with Trevor from A-Eon) so I think info from them should be well received here

Oh please do - what does it matter... you have like 15 users that actually visit this site on a daily basis. They just do it over, and over, and over.

MobbyG actually likes this site and probably just wanted to share....Please take these words as my opinion only.. but you all need to get a bit of a grip on yourselves.

Honestly, who the hell cares??Our hobby is small enough, we don't need attitudes such as this.

Many of us cares. That site about amigaos, and mostly about amigaos4 , why the hell there should be news like this ? Lets post it on amiga.org and aw.net, where users talk about everything, but not about actuall aos-realted problems.

Many of us like to visit amigans.net, because it troll-free, mostle lame-free, and mostly constructive and so on. You always have choice : if you want to talk about ipod, macos, and post news like this, why not use just amiga.org and amigaworld.net ? I am sure, many users on that sites will like to read such stuff and such news.

If we will in interest to know something not related to amigaos, we will do some google with no problems.
