=== Installation

Copy the properties directory and main.pak from your original game installation into the game's root directory. The final directory layout should look like this:

Plants/
properties/
main.pak
pvz
pvz.info
readme.txt
readme.txt.info

Once everything is in place, simply run the game.

If you start it from a Shell, debug information will be printed to the console. If you launch it by double-clicking its icon, all console output will be suppressed.

=== AmigaOS 4 Specific Changes

The AmigaOS 4 version is built statically, so no SObjs-hell.

It uses SDL2 together with ogles2.library, and includes a number of OS4-specific fixes and improvements:

- General compatibility fixes, including path handling, stack cookie, file loading/saving, proper cleanup, and co.
- Fixed PNG alpha channel handling in png_set_swap_alpha() and added OGLES2 workarounds for the A8R8G8B8/RGB565 pixel formats.
- Fixed several rendering issues present in the original code
- Fixed blinking cursor.
- Reworked the resource loading process to keep the visuals synchronized while game data is being loaded.
- Updated and optimized `libopenmpt.a` for faster unpacking and seeking of large MO3 music files.
- Added improvements to ensure music starts and plays correctly while the game is loading.
- Optimized rendering by introducing batching to reduce the number of draw calls.
