Particle Engine - suggestions for use?
Just can't stay away

I have created this little particle engine :

ParticleEngine2D

It is no near perfect. For one thing, the springs add problems with the collision handling. But it is good enough to show usage.

Does anyone have good ideas for improvements and/or usage? Is it a game or something else? I'd like to hear your reactions.

NB: The app runs on AmigaOS 4, but I cannot capture video there at the moment.

The very first thing that immidiately crossed my mind watching it, is some kind of planetary/gravitational system simulation.

e.g. the solar system
- add a massive mass in the center
- add some more smaller masses around it
- add gravitational push and pull
-add trajectory speed to the smaller masses
-add circular speed to all the masses
-add random events, like tiny masses entering your system (comets)
etc.
too many ideas in my head for now

People are dying.
Entire ecosystems are collapsing.
We are in the beginning of a mass extinction.
And all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth.
How dare you!
