Having recently read some threads at AW.net (after a long absence), I honestly don't think you are missing much. Unless you are a masochist...

I really don't know why they don't ban a few 'key' trolls, it'd make the site so much better. Well OK, as an ex-moderator there I do have some idea: Bending over backwards to fairly apply a flawed TOS that those trolls have learnt to avoid. :-/

I hope that once the moderation kicks in (after AEon took over) it will get better...though there *is* always amigans.net

At which point you can expect lots of people crying foul... most likely egged-on by those aforementioned trolls.

And if the TOS gets changed, you can expect them to be screaming blue murder.

OTOH, I can understand number6's preference for websites/forums that are (theoretically) independant.

Sadly, despite being a nice guy, it's hard to see Trevor D coming out of this unscathed.

I'm pretty sure Trevor is sane enough to not throw himself into the pit

But i'm with you regarding the trolls...it will take a long time...if it's ever possible to get a nice and calm site out of it once again
