E-UAE and hardfiles[SOLVED]
Just can't stay away

I have problems trying to set up E-UAE with hard files.. i think that my syntax is not correct..

hardfile2=rw,DH0:Workbench:Emulatori:ClassicWB/System.hdf,32,1,2,512,1,

Do I need some special configuration to use hard files? I would like to use my hard file that is ready to go for playing

Use make_hdf that is included. If I remember correctly it gives you the 2 lines to put in the .uaerc. It should at least give you a good example.

If it's an RDB hardfile, then the numbers are different. Check WinUAE's config.

My config :

1. boot from hd
filesystem2=rw,DH0:System:OS39Stuff:System,0
filesystem2=rw,DH1:Work:OS39Stuff:Work,1

2.boot from hdf
hardfile=rw,32,1,2,512,OS39Stuff:System.hdf
hardfile=rw,32,1,2,512,OS39Stuff:Work.hdf

or

filesystem2=rw,dh0:gcc:OS39Stuff:gcc.hdf,0

3.boot my partion on my HD
filesystem2=rw,DH2:Net:Net:,0
filesystem2=rw,DH3:Work:Work:,0
filesystem2=rw,DH4:Develop:Develop:,0
filesystem2=rw,DH5:Workbench:Workbench:,0

I found the following to work best (in general) :
hardfile2=rw,YourPartition.hdf,0,0,0,512,1,
