Mixed up ATIradeon.chip (probably)
Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

In testing different Amicygnex configurations i did probably rename both the older and the newer Kickstart/ATIradeon.chip name.
Booting now stops indeed with a mention of this file. :((

What are my options to solve this (SAM440ep)
- try to remember the root password for the Debian OS
(bought it fromI.M.M Informatique never changed, must have been a simple one ( i was not able yet to contact Faranheit I.M.M manager, hope he sees this
- reinstall everything from OS4.1 then updates
- boot from my datas: partition to which i copied the OS4.1 update1 sys. I was able to boot from it before (having set up 3 choices before. The boot stops here when the first Amiga boing ball screen appears :(

What else?

How about booting from OS 4.1 CD? I think the partitions will auto mount even.

He mean that you need to hold 2 mouse buttons after booting, and you will have same settings as you have on old amigas , where you can choice boot with startup-sequence or without, from which partition to boot and so on. So you need to choice boot-without-startup-sequence, then you will have plain console, and then by dos commands rename manually all what you need.
