Application lib probs

I don't remember if this has been reported already. But IApplication->FindApplication() should return appID according to autodocs. But it looks to me it returns boolean value (0 or 1). Version: application.library 53.10 (13.11.09)

Note you can check application IDs with Ranger as well.

I need that ID to send messages to other apps.

For the FINDAPP_Filename Tag in the autodoc it states:

FINDAPP_FileName
Searches for the given application filename
(e.g. "Work:TestApp/TestApp").
If this tag is specified, FINDAPP_FileName is
ignored.

That means it is designed to ignore itself.
With docs like that, who knows what the function is supposed to return

Looks like a simple copy-paste error to me. The autodocs contain many of those. In this case judging from the context it's probably supposed to say that the FINDAPP_Name tag is ignored.

Application.lib (especially the PrefsObject section) and docky autodocs have long been reported as incomplete or erroneous. That's a bit dangerous if one consider that third party programs are forced to rely on wild guesses and may cease to work one day when the library is fixed.
