I tried to use this program to remap my keyboard under amiga os 4.1. I wasn't able to use it.. is it compatible with the keyboard mapping of amiga os 4.1 or i am just missing something ?..

The program is this one :

AFAIK OS4.x uses a completely different, text-based keyboard mapping format.

Not necessary. Just use your favourite text editor

With what file?

I also like to be able to remap keys and as i understand it from your post there is a text file somewhere which only needs to be edited?

Care to share where it resides?
Please?

It is your keyboard layout that you choose from input program and it is located in sys:devs/keymaps/

These files are all txt files
