How Can I Format in FAT32 with OS4.1?

So, does anyone know how this can be done with OS4.1?

Or is there any way that I can format an external hard drive in a way that will at least cause the drive to be recognized on XP or Vista so that I can then format it with FAT32 through one of them?

Thanks.

Have you looked at Utilities/Crossdos. I didn't have anything connected when I looked at it, but I have previously rescued a corrupt usb stick by formatting it as fat32, and I understand that the usb system uses crossdos.

Connect your USB-Drive to your A1, then press CTRL-LALT-M to open the USB-Massstoragecommodity, you can change the filesystem there.

Hi @PEB

I formatted a 1GB USB flash drive OK with the Mass Storage GUI. The office XP didn't gripe about seeing it!

BTW, I tried the latest version of "PictureWidget", one of my favorites, but it disappears in OS4.0! It loads up and runs OK, but if I try to relocate the frame or resize it, everthing disappears forever!

OT about PictureWidget:
I'm not sure what is going wrong there. It works fine here (using 4.1 though).

Another OT comment (though related to the PictureWidget question):
I'm sorry to report that I've lost all of the source code from my Hollwood software due to mechanical failure with my hard drive; so I can't improve or change anything in any of the programs that I've made so far without coding everything again from scratch (which I can't see myself doing right now).
