Good CD32 games

I'd like to buy a new game for my CD32. What I currently have are Pinball Fantasies and Sleepwalker (which came with the system), Defender of the Crown II, Lemmings, Microcosm, Sim City, Labyrinth, Liberation, The Chaos Engine, Guy Spy, and The Hound of the Baskervilles. Any ideas for another good game?

Superfrog definitely, one of the best Jump'n Runs around and
with the funny intro from Eric W. Schwartz it takes it beyond

Pirates Gold! is also a great classic

Thanks for the suggestion, Raziel. Just ordered Superfrog from Software Hut. I'll keep Pirates Gold! in mind just in case they don't have the other.

Also Wings even though I'd prefer to hear from someone who's actually played it and had some experience with it.

Wings???

I know Wings from the disks, played it through, great atmosphere,
challenging, but i think you are talking about Wing Commander?

Well, WC i never finished, hehe, lost interest after being too
early on top of the roster and none of my wingmans could
catch up, started to loose them like flys to a honeypot in
later missions, though, gave up on it :-/

Still nice game

I have never owned a CD32 console, but now I am really considering to buy one!
Only from the outer appearance, I would always prefer the Amiga CDTV. You can stack it together with your stereo equipment near the television and nobody will notice that it's a computer!

But the technical specifications of the Amiga CD32 are better. Do you know what would be great? An Amiga CD32 in the case of an Amiga CDTV.
Unfortunately, this is not possible.

Why not just buy the games and use WHDLoad for it

Though you still need the CD32 or A1200/A4000 rom to play
those games...they are available on the AmnigaForever CD,
at least it's less pricey and far less difficult to obtain

That is a fair point. I think one of the reasons to buy a CD32 is because I admire Amiga hardware. So my interest is not only to play these games, but also to own another Amiga computer.
I am not an Amiga-collector yet, but might become one in the future.
What is your favourite Amiga computer model and why?

The ones i'm working with atm (no favourites)

A4000 with 64MB Ram Fast, 2MB Chip
Cyberstorm PPC with Dual 68060@50Mhz / 604e@200MHz
Cybervision PPC Gfx Board with 8MB Gfx Ram
9.1 GB SCSI HD, Ultraplex 40x SCSI CD-Rom
X-Surf 2 dangling on a Netgear DG834B v3 Router

all that wrapped in a wooden case i let a kind carpenter
build for me on my own plans (some might they, a coffin hehe )

If i ever get my hands on DigiCam, i'll post pics from the case

Other than that, my A1XE, of course, with the best AmigaOS
ever done...

I don't have a favourite model, Amiga is a way of life, a
way of believing, you don't need to hold something in your
hands to believe

Amiga is believing

Well, I think my all time favorite has to be the A500.

Next the A600 because of it's compact size, built in HDD and PCMCIA slot.

I think the CDTV has to be the classiest looking Amiga of all time. (It comes back into fashion every 15 years - when consumer electronics are shipped in black instead of silver.)

Please can you try and keep threads on topic. If you want to ask seemingly irrelevant questions, it would be much preferred if you could start a new thread - there isn't a thread shortage, you can start as many as you like.

This isn't the first time you've been seen to throw a thread off on a tangent, and I appreciate your topics are Amiga-related, but it is easier for everyone if the discussion relates to the thread title. If it ceases to do so, a new thread should be created. I have no qualms in using my limited moderation powers to ensure this is the case in future.

Hey, Chris. I meant to put this thread in Classic Amiga Games, but put it in Classic Amiga Hardware by mistake. If you would, please move the thread to classic games unless you think it'd be OK to remain in here.

Thanks...
